This is to "storefronts" which I despise on principle alone!:spew:

Areas like Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Studio City, etc... on Ventura Blvd are for SWANK RICH FUCKS!:-o

Now, they turn around and sell it for a minimum $60 an 1/8th...

Usually for $65...

Now, at juss $60 an 1/8th they are retailing my herbs for over $7,680 a lb...:clap:

My own Collective members pay considerably less...

$360 a oz or $5,760 a 1/b...:hug:

Non members that "I KNOW" (these are VIP niche clients) who don't wanna deal with: Dr Rec's, paper work or dispensaries!:o

They pay $400 a oz all day long w/a smile on their faces!
That is $6,400 a lb and honestly I am fine with that...:weed:

Damn ^^ I was just kidding about the 4k ! But I'm sick of growers getting low balled all the time so whenever someone asks how much for indoor, I always say a high ass number because they clearly don't know.

We growers have to change the price of indoor, shit is getting really expensive and our indoor prices keep getting lower. Even with a shitty outdoor season this year were still getting fucked. It starts with us !! We indoor growers cant survive on 2500 a P of good indoor, Fuck the electric alone dedicates 1 pound of your harvest if your doing something like I am.

I'm sick and tired of clubs and people trying to get a low ass number for some meds (which is pretty fucking good) I put my heart and soul into. Fuck that shit, I say from now on we raise the price on that ass. Inflation is a bitch and the price of indoor just went up officially.

I agree 100%. WAY to many growers are getting jacked by the clubs.

It's very simple to tell if you're getting jacked.

If they are selling your bud for much more than 100% markup, you just got jacked.

If they are selling your bud for $50 an 1/8, then the math is $50 (price per eighth) x 8 (8 eighths in an ounce) x 16 (ounce in a pound). Then divide that number by 2 and that's how much we should be getting. So 50*8*16 = 6400. 6400/2= $3200
.
That's been pretty standard for a few years now, but it's starting to go away. Now I'm seeing clubs buying packs for $2400 and selling for $65 an eighth. That's nearly a 350% profit which is completely obscene. It is expensive to run a dispensary, but it's not that expensive. It's profiteering IMO. Too bad vendors have no rights.

The only thing we can do is make sure growers know much much they should be getting.

I'm thinking there will always be plenty of illegal indoor grows that are fine with the lower prices, and thus they set the price. A PG&E guy was just telling me the other day how he made the call to three houses in my hood that were recently busted and how easily they steal the electricity. They simply dont have the overhead you guys do combined with perpetual grows in dedicated 3,000+ SF houses = lotso bud. Just like any other goods on the market, competition hurts.

I think the Valley folks need to bite the bullet, drive over The Hill, and visit someplace like Hollyweed. They sell my Pre-98 testing in at 21% for $45/eighth. In fact, they have a ceiling at $45. Once in a while I sell them some Tahoe OG (22%) and they sell that for $45/eighth. Those Valley boys are going to price themselves right out of business at $60. Just go to Hollyweed and tell Sonny or Dee Dee that you want the Pre-98 or the Pre-98 x San Fernando Kush from the grower in Ventura.

I went to harborside in Oakland the other day and they said they pay up to 2000 a lbs for really good outdoor. That's damn good if u ask me :)

You'd be surprised. In my experience the clubs who price their bud at $60 do just as much business if not more than clubs with prices capped at $45/50 even when the clubs are in close proximity to each other. People associate paying more with higher quality.

I believe this to be true for first time buyers. But, time should sort out the difference between perception and truth.

BC Sweet god would depend on the quality. Plain "og kush" in SoCal might be hard to vend. You're about 5 years too late on that.
