I bought one of these tubes from dank and they work very well. Its so much easier to use his tube than the steel turkey baster I was using previously. It makes going through trashbags of trim a lot faster.
BB&B do have turkey basters that hold approx 1/2-20g. they work fine. but these hold more. also clean easier. i was just offering them to try and not have people making nasty depot oils.. any true oil head knows.bed bath and beyond steel turkey baster $8
autozone hose clamp $1.25
coffee filter $0 (already in the cabinet)
I'll continue with my $10 tube but thx for the post
Dan, everything is foreign. Do you own a TV? A camera? A cell phone? A T-shirt?and comparing $10 chinese pipes to a AMERICAN hand made titanium wrapped vapor swing is just retarded. im sorry. nothing to say about that. keep buying foreign..
im sorry if i sounded mad, its just irritating how many times people bring up chinese glass being so cheap.. thats exactly what it is.. cheap.Uh oh, you are starting to sound mad.
When? ---->08-02-2011, 09:56 AMWhen the fuck did RIU become the home shopping network ?

Glass blowers can offer their products here. members may buy and sell glass from their private collections as well at our forum. you need not be a glassblower to partake in our glass exchange program. all glass sold MUST be clean.
All exchanges should be carried out privately. Details need not be made public. Rollitup.org and it's staff cannot be held liable over private exchanges discussed on this site.
Shipping glass laws vary depending on the country, state, or region in which you reside. It is the responsibility of the involved parties to know their local laws and ordinances.
when there are private sales there is always the reputation of the seller and buyer at stake. Be CAUTIOUS of any exchange that you are not comfortable with. We hope to have an active forum where members can gain direct access to glassblowers work displayed here and exchange glass from their own personal collections.

Yeah, I appreciate quality materials and I'm just getting by with this current piece and I'm not a collector or looking to start an arguement, with that being said....around '01 I had bought a 40" piece from Purple East (here also I'm not sure on all of the origins of material/manufacture, but it had plenty of detail/features/work that leads me to believe it wasn't just slopply mass produced) sticker price was $380 bought it half off with birthday discount. This where I think most look at the amount of materials involved and begin to scratch there heads when looking at a bell and skillet.im sorry if i sounded mad, its just irritating how many times people bring up chinese glass being so cheap.. thats exactly what it is.. cheap.
I didnt want to offend you but admit that your package is marked up a couple, 500 percentthick non chinease glass is expensive. they are over a foot long and not made with chinease lead filled glass like your dollar store vase. i use HEAVY WALL tubing. i anneal and kiln it unlike your vase. i wouldnt pack your vase tight. to properly pack a tube you push the material into it with force. pack it tight. then build HIGH pressures. i aint using no chinese glass to do that. your making a controlled bomb that you are holding above a puddle of flammable liquid.
im sorry but you sound like an idoit asking me why my American made kilned heavy wall glass is more expensive than your cheap dollar store vase. obviously you are new to the subject.
Also with the tube/fittings/screen/cork/gas/electricity/SHIPPING, its 50$ TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT., THESE TUBES ARE 100$ ANYWHERE ELSE. and i have 30$ smaller ones.
i dont just send a straight glass tube. you get a kit.
and if you newbs start blowing through home depot tubes your going to make nasty oil. i have been making these for years and am experienced. trust me.
