My 200W induction with fogponics and SCROG Dutch Treat grow.

Hey all. Just wanted to share my latest grow with the community. I am trying out a few new things such as my 200W induction light. This thing puts out almost no heat and it is the perfect spectrum for the plants. I am also using a fogponic box. It has two air compressors that suck nutes out of the res with the venturi effect and atomized the molecules to less than 30 microns. I was using 50 percent less nutes but I still burnt the crap out of my plants. I moved down to 80 percent less and I think I still might go a little lower.

I hope everyone enjoys this this is going to be an amazing grow once I finish dialing in my nute levels.

50-80 Microns is ideal, according to NASA research. Smaller isn't always better. Good luck! Looks fun.

Thanks for the interest guys. I'm not quite sure what you mean by how far out I am going. I plan on filling the whole screen up if that's what you mean. So here are todays pics:



One problem I'm having is this. My friend said that it was too much Magnesium. So since I am using FloraGro and FloraMicro is there one that I would need to cut back more on?

Looks like too much N too. I'd reduce them both. I meant how far are you going out because it doesn't look like the light will be able to manage the screen size you have

Yeah, I am thinking I will have to add some supplemental side lighting. I will reduce both next res change. I only used 2 tsp of each in five gallons last time. Maybe Ill cut that in half.

I am into high pressure aero, what you're doing here with that contraption is similar, if the stated microns are correct, I might have some advice for you, and I am also curious how it works, could you post some pics/explanation? In return I'll give you some nute and cycle tips that should really help you on this one. Good luck man... BTW- I think I;ve seen that unit before, marketed as an aero chamber. I discounted it, but now you have it catching my attention again.

Sorry for falling off the Earth guys. stuff was getting crazy for me and I had to put the grow on hold. I am currently getting set up for another (soil) so I will update when I get that one going.

....cool mist humidifiers....the nebula or genorater .....same thing

Im not sure what brand it was exactly. You can build one out of pretty much anything as long as you have the nozzles and air pumps. But too much work for me right now. Im switching over to live organic for an easy grow on my next go around.

HPA is harder to set up, but my personal belief is that it's easier and cheaper to run in the long run. Easy for me to say though because I have been researching and doing it for close to a year now, so the hard part of assimilating the knowledge has already been done for me. I am sure your organic path will make you happy all the same... Question: are you interested in selling any of the aero kit you aren't using anymore- or are you happy keeping it around it for a rainy day?
