Selling MMj on Craigslist

Hello Neighbors,

In Clark County someone is selling MMJ on Craigslist. They cite the law, and insist you have your ID and rec in hand. Is this legal? We cannot have dispenseries, so how are patients to get their MMJ?

I see this all over washington state craigslist... wonder if its cops or dumb people trying to sell pot.

Can't sell it. not 100% sure, but you can't even give it to someone without being that persons caregiver. That's the way I read the law anyway. The state is tying hard to stop movement/selling of MJ the state said we could have co-ops But left it up to local gov. to say how and where.

If you have a valid rec, you can donate medicine to other patients and providers who also have valid recs. You can't "sell" it. You can "donate" it.

I live here in AZ and I sell it on CL along with many others. Cops will troll on it and try and bust people, but patient to patient is 100% legal here in AZ. (have had 3 run ins) 1 tried buying without a card, and the other 2 spotted it happening in a local parking lot.

It's all over CL. There are both legit people, non-legit people, & LEO who hunt that site. If you do go that route make sure you are 100% legit, using a pre-paid phone & not growing illegally @ home. LEO gets on CL to setup busts.

hmm read a bunch of news on that area & can't find anything about a "vote" - pretty much all news says they all just had too much and/or breaking rules/laws - like only supposed to have so many people in each coop, one place said they had over 3000 lol :)

Not making light of this, however - I recently moved south of this area & planned to renew my WA recommendation at the Bellingham sattelite of my mmj doc (I've been traveling to Bellvue up until now) - although I have a very bad lower back that gets a little worse every year, I am concerned with initiatives coming up & especially I-1208, the Washington State Cannabis Act - I whole heartedly oppose I502

I really hate the idea of patients becoming automatic DUIs especially based on something that doesn't actually determine any level of impairment at all(!)
It's bad enough to pass a bad law but even worse to "fix" a bad law once it's in - better to not pass a bad law at all!

The idea that a low-income, disabled legal medical cannabis patient like myself wouldn't be allowed a small garden to supply their own self is almost as bad!

I know lots of us know what a horror show 502 will create & that makes me feel a little better lol

I second this as I live here in Bellingham, No one ever voted. The local Police (NOT DEA OR OTHER FEDERAL COPS) shut down 4 dispenseries and arrested 5 people for possession of marijuana with the intent to sell, And because they had their buisness license revoked, yet they stayed open. Like someone mentioned north star had 3000+ patients. They were also supposibly selling to people without legal Recc.

Bellingham has been going downwards for years. When I lived there 5-8 years ago the Music scene had great bars: the Factory and 3B. They are trying to turn it into Bellvue IMHO and it's a damn shame.

the factory was a coke dive bar . . . .played shitty music!

bellingham music scene was and is still as bloated as elvis

and ya bellingham never needed any dispensaries . .. . .this market has been saturated an healthy forever . . . .. . . real fire for the tokers and cali swag for the scensters

and the 3000 patient place was giving out ilegal recs and was called northern cross

pot should be legal but for the time being dont fuck it up for the rest of us becuase you cant be discrete
