Welp here they are, Black Ice. If you have/had been following my other thread (as found in my signature) these are my little Ice plants that are in the 2 liter bottles. the pics were taken today at lights on and are looking great and smelling awesome. The trichombs are all still mostly clear so i've got a little more time.

So ive never seen any of my Ice plants i've ever grown turn black on me. One i harvested a few months back had some purple sugar leaf but they were tiny and very few. Other than that one i have never seen this happen. its not a nute def either. leaves are strong, not a bit weak or brittle. im letting the darkest go until she gives me seeds and then see what i can do with those from there. :joint: :leaf:

I love ice. especially when you vape it. perfect mix of a hybrid high. Really sweet and if you cure it long enough it smells beautifully of fruit orchards.

this is the first time ive seen my ice go black. So hopefully it stays with the motto for her seeds (if she gives me any) "once you go black, you never go back."

Sounds like you are on to something there my friend :-) The only problem for me would be the vape thing, as I cannot do that (seems that I don't get a high of it, even after trying several different types of). I heard a lot of members state that it is all about the curing process that really makes this what it is. Perhaps at some point, you can give me some curing tips, because that is where I am lacking in skill. I really like the last part of your statement tho Bro. :-) Very nice touch !! Love ya and keep growing some fine stuff !! BTW .... Hope you get some seeds off your hard work !! Stay in touch Bro !! Love ya !

So no high off a vape? thats a bummer! its my favorite way to get up in the clouds.
Curing isnt so bad. the way i do it is i take my buds after hanging "X" amount of days and cut them to size and store them in a PS3 (yes i know, im a gamer :) ) box and close it. Every couple hours Ishake in an up and down motion and "burp" them once done. to burp is to open the box/jar and release the excess moisture. i also open the box when i shake them. after about 3-5 days in the box i then jar them and do the same thing as Iwas with the box only I open 1-2 times a day.
Eventually you'll only end up opening them once every couple weeks (or hours if you smoke a lot) ;) you'll start to notice after the first day inside the jar(s) that theyll be taking on better, fuller bodied scents.

Hope this helps you. Everyone has their own methods and found this one to work really well. You're box can be of any type as long as its cardboard. Others use brown paper bags. It just didnt make sense to me to use many bags. So now i cut down on waste and help our landfills. ;)

I've got 4 ice in my veg room as we speak. They're about 2 inches tall maybe? One is really small, half inch but still growing strong.

So real quick, my Black Ice is growing MORE bud. She has a buncha new green bud all over her on TOP of the black and purple stuff. So i put her in a 3 gallon bucket to see what happens next. Shes at around 10 weeks or so into flower and all her older trichomes are still not showing any amber color. ill get some pics shortly...

haha yeah at some point in time it was arts & crafts day. Need some new markers :)

on top of the hand is a nicely done Scarlet begonia. The watery blues werent blended that well and really didnt hold up to my abuse i put em thru. Already had one touch up and i am a lefty so theres no chance at me fixing it. :)
