Try the ec setting maybe? I know you can use the ec reading and multiply by 700 to get a pretty good idea of your ppm.

Wow guys. I know how to use my meters I've been using them for a year. It's not going to tell me in the manual which mode you guys go by. SMH

- I'm using KCl like buddah said.

I just read that is what they usually use, not my recommendation. So make sure that is correct please, lol. I am just trying to help ya figure shit out man, I know how shitty it is to grow always worrying about them. Lifting the lid every half hour, checking worrying. After I got mine in autopilot its so nice now, I can relax and know things are "OK" and if not I can correct them from experience.

I want you to get there because there is nothing better when your babies are happy and growing good.

Ha Ha yes! I love your post. I'm taking down my first 3 girls today, so I'm excited. Putting 4 in bud today, too. Taking out 3 sharks breath, putting in 4 Ak-47. Everything is rolling good besides my pH fluctuations, but I am working on getting this solved. Have a good feeling that it's my hydroton causing pH flucs, could be wrong.

I've been looking into trying a RDWC or undercurrent because the amount of buckets that I mess with is beyond ridiculous. Many things stopping me from accomplishing this, though.

Here's a pic of my roots. This is on the left of the budroom where the 10 girls are. All 10 are same age, 5 purple wreck and 5 querkle. I really think I have 8 purple wreck and 2 querkle. Lol..

Same girl, 2 weeks into flowering.

I mixed 11 buckets yesterday at 300ppm 6.0 ph. 10 are in plants and one is just a bucket with a airstone in it. Today all 11 buckets say 6.9. Not going to touc anything and see if it will go down tonorrow. Next res change i will start at 5.5 ph and see what happens.

I just watched the video (wasn't there when i first posted, just saw it) you made it sound like you had a huge problem, you have a slight problem with a few plants and some really confusing numbers on your meters. Remember that once things are dialed in a lot of growers just stop using the meters (ph check is never a bad idea, but a bad meter can make way more problems then a good one can typically help). Its the little things that you have to rigure out and get dialed in and you will have an amazing grow.
Your set up looks really good, your roots amazing!
I could see you doing RDWC, what is it that is stopping you?

Ignorance is bliss. If you knew how to use and read your meters properly, you would be giving us PROPER ppm readings and not having the issues you are. I am done trying to help someone that does not want it.

I didn't mean to come off rude but I gave you proper ppm readings. my PPM meter works just fine, never had a problem with it really. I don't understand your hostility.

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully one day I can get away from using meters. I can basically tell what my meters are going to say before they even say it, but I just make sure.

What's stopping me from doing RDWC or anything is my plants are all different ages. I've got 4-5 always around the same age, and different strains. I don't have much room to fit 6-7 res's and I basically don't want to remodel my set up when I am just getting it dialed in :bigjoint:

If I had someone show me how I would probably do it instantly. Messing with 40+ buckets daily is an adventure.

No worries in33dw33d I went through the same crap, year or so ago. I asked for help and everyone claiming I didn't do this, or can't use that. I knew what I was doing, shit I was documenting, eliminating and diagnosing better then CSI crime unit. It is just part of the process, just don't let the responses get you down because of all the morons claiming your're doing all this and that wrong, there is some good help beneath the rubble that can lead to your success to figuring out your issues.

Don't give up bud, when you get to where your nutes, room and plants are dialed its so fucking nice. You are then almost afraid to try anything new, kinda superstitious if you put a label on it.

Any luck figuring out what caused your problems yet?
Today I shook the bottles up (I don't usually because I called them one time and they said that I didn't need to) and the next thing I know there is all kinds of like salt build up or solid peices of dynagro in the bottle.. So yeah, ordered more. Could still be other things, but for now I think everything is going OK as long as I adjust the pH and add back nutes every day.

These 4 are first day into flower. The back right one was 25" 3 days ago, I don't usually measure their size so..

That sucks, sorry to hear about the bad nutes. On the plus side, those plants look quite good.

Called DYNAGRO. They said it was no big deal. They said to strain it all out and start shaking it before use. Still eliminating pH drifting culprits.

Put 6 new clones in last night in DWC. Still have another 8 in veg too. They're all mostly pH stable the past week.
