you want to use water or water and molassas for the last 2-3 weeks i would not flush your plants unless there are lock outs or heavy nute burn.

If you are growing organically, there is no need to flush. If you are using man made fertilizers, flushing is necessary to remove the salts left behind. As for molasses, I've yet to hear a good argument for using it....

Thats a shame.... I have absolutely no problems with it.... I use it for my herbs and my tomatoes and it feeds the entire season. As for gnat larvae, I've yet to have any gnat problems myself... the only drawback I've encountered is acidity, but that can easily be remedied with lime.

different strokes, different folks... :)
Wish I still had all my old MG pics, every single plant had yellowing leaves due to N deficiency/burnt leaf tips during veg from too much N. But hey, according to some growers you're supposed to have a dying plant on your hands for the last 2weeks...which is a myth.
With respect to molasses, it is an integral part of many peoples' regimen for good reason...feeds microbes which in turn feed plants.
Now lemme get out of here before this one gets entirely hijacked...lol

Just too early is all...it will taste better when it is done...most taste bad when they are too immature...

lol, have you even grown with mg? It produces some of the most beautiful plants. His problem was testing bud too early, not mg....

While on the subject of mg, just make sure to add a little bit of dolomite lime to the top of the soil and add half strength mg bloom food when she is flowering. The nutes in mg should last for a typical mj grow, but the phosphorous gets used up quickly in flowering.

The only people that bash MG products seem to be the ones that eff'd up when using them.

They're actually good products.

Wow, was not expecting to wake up to all this good old fashion discussion happenin' on here! lol. The babies in the background were under a window but seeing how I live in an apartment it was hard to keep them their discretely so they stretched a lot :/ So i took them and trimmed them to bush them out. My plans were to get another set of lights and put them under their 18/6 in another room soon. And the Indica and Sativa were put under 12/12 together, but the Sativa was the first one to show signs of sex.

The leaf droop was because I was trying to get rid of all the little nanners that kept popping up everywhere and the picture was taken right after my expedite so the leaves weren't too happy with me lol. And I definitely am done trimming this little baby. I topped it about 4 weeks ago at about a foot tall and waited for all the undergrowth to reach the level that it was topped at and then I tied down the two tops and make all the buds sites level with each other. With this being done I have no more want to trim, and plan on letting it grow out naturally now.

Your plants look nice...how long they stay that way is the question. You have 2 plants in the same 3 gallon bucket, both of which you cut fan leaves from(why?)...how are going to treat this issue should you have a male/female?.

Until that is addressed, your medium is a side issue.

And question with the half strength MG bloom food, how often should I feed with this? Every watering, every other watering? And when should I start adding sugar to the water, and how much? Should it just be added when flushing the last couple times?
I know it's a lot of questions, but everyone started talking about different things and different aspects of how they grow, and their all kinda different.. lol.

When I chop my plants they do the last 24hr shift sucking up RO water removing them just as the hps comes on. It is critical that they do not go dry during this prosess, especially when the hps is on.

Seeing as how I had them in all that time released stuff what I actually thought about doing was chopping em, and then letting them sit in the dark and let the roots sit in some water to flush out all the nutes. Any opinion if this would help with taste?

Will be back on later, works calling. Probably won't be until around 2-3 a.m. though.

If you choose to use Scott's products, I wish you luck...you'll be needing it.

Been there and done it.

Be wise, choose a different route...even the Miracle-Grow Organic bags are not a god idea for anything other than green peppers or tomatoes.

I live near the equator and I have 5 potted plants outdoors in MG soil that are 3 weeks into flowering that say your opinion is just that, an opinion. The plants were taken as clones and were left overs. They look beautiful and are budding up very nicely.

Not everyone is going to agree with everyone, why not just leave it at that?

BTW, I've been growing for about 4 years now, not a master, but I have used several products, including MG for potting, and it has done wonders by me. If it works so great for tomatoes, why would it not work for a cannabis plant, which shares the same traits?

This goes back to the old FF vs MG myths.... search for MG vs FF on these threads and you'll find some journals that show MG kicking FF's ass. Bigger plants and bigger yields. but don't take my word for it, look it up :)

Then let's compare pics, I'll put up my organic grows up against Fox Farm, Scott's, or any other shit company that feels they can out-do nature.

In what phase of veg/flower shall we begin?...of course in a new thread.

Hey no offense to any people on here, but I was more of just looking for advice not a thread for arguments. If you have differing advice, or opinions, then that should be the end of it. To each his own, no reason to argue over your personal opinions and beliefs. So if your just going to argue or try and push your beliefs on me over somebody elses please take this kind request as unconfrontational as you can and please... no more ugly posts.
Much appreciation to everyone who has already done this thanks :) I think I know what I need to do now. All of your advices and opinions were taken into consideration.
