30% perlite is ideal, i usually put a nice layer of perlite on the bottom for good drainage. try using some rainwater, its good aeration is great for your roots. and if your poking holes, stay away from the main stem by like 2" if you can, also making holes on the side is great if your fan is blowing into the holes. it works great out here in this humidity. if you dont see much growth up top then their roots are probably growing although. just be patient, try not to touch them and theyll fix themselves. a good way to add some mycorrhyzae is to rip out some weeds in your yard that grow very vigorously, their roots have tons of microbes on them. you can just put them in your water or put them in a reservoir with a bubbler on it constantly, add a bit of honey/blackstrap molasses(unsulphured) too if you want them to reproduce and make colonies of microbes, thats the general idea of compost teas really, just much easier

try it out man, the only reason weeds grow so damn fast is mostly because of those microbes, they love certain plants and taking their roots and adding it to compost tea works out excellent, i usually grind up the roots or break them up a bit before adding them although. adding them to your compost or even on your topsoil is great as well. they love a bit of unsulphured blackstrap/honey as feed too, just boil it into your water after putting the roots on the top soil or compost and they'll be building colonies within a few hours, usually takes them a good 2-3 days in my compost teas.
 
sounds good to me lol, by "poking holes" i mean pushing around soil with a sharpie and yes ill try to avoid the main + rep for good info ha
 
050412-0858.jpg050412-0858(001).jpg end of day 3 perlite kush, end of day 6 bagseed [transplanted] people have mentioned the wilted bottom leaves im really not sure they have looked weird and shirivelled like that since the start like the very very start the next leaves are forming so hopefully they dont look messed up also.

first one looks fine, the other ones not too bad could just be a mutation or slight nute burn, but she'll be fine in due time if your giving her good conditions.

i think its mutation cus i noticed that there was some of the seedling left in the shell when it fell off maybe its just coincidence

yeah im sure its just wilted right there so that angle is bad. the next leaves arent looking mutated like the first two so thats a relief lol

End of day 5 for perlite kush shes looking good definitely further along day 5 than the bagseed was her cotyledons are kinda wilted though what could i do about that???

they're looking really healthy, id just leave them be and maybe give them some foliar spray every couple days, thats always good for the leaves. they're looking better every day, by next week they'll both probably be on their 2nd and maybe starting their 3rd.
