what are your tips for getting a script? everyone i talk to that has a script said it took them forever to get the doctor to give them xanax
It CAN take time but I was lucky because my mom is prescribed Xanax for a condition that she has (I found out that her condition is genetic so I went to my doc and gave him a list of my "symptoms").
Basically you search the Internet to find out what symptoms the drug is used to help. Then make an appointment with your doc and tell him how you are feeling. A lot of times a benzodiazepine is not the first class of drug that you will be offered. Take your prescription for the anti-depressant or whatever your doctor has given you and throw it in the garbage. Find out a list of side effects that the anti-depressant has and phone your doctor 2 weeks later to let him know how bad the side effects are (I've had the shits for 2 weeks straight and I've missed work for the last 4 days etc).
If he gives you another anti-depressant than you use the side-effect excuse again because anti-depressants are nasty drugs. If he puts you into a different class of drug then you can simply tell him that it's not working.
Eventually you get your benzo script. You tell him that it's working a little bit but you're still having symptoms. He ups the dose and then u have a steady supply of pills to enjoy.
I used this method to get a script for a stimulant from my family doctor AND to get benzo's from my doctor when I was in the Navy. It worked both times.
IF you are under 30 years old and IF you look like a druggy then of course it will be hard to score pills from a good doctor. My doctor was extremely busy and he knew my family very well so it was fairly easy for me to spend a few minutes bullshitting him into giving me what I want.
Whatever you do, do NOT go in asking for Xanax or Valium etc. I did have discussions with doctors about these drugs but I ALWAYS referred to them as Alprazolam, diazepam, clonazepam etc...
But as I said before, pot is a good hobby. Other drugs were not such a good hobby for me...
