Help need with ventilation please!

  • I have my grow room which is 9x10x9. I have 3 600w hps going with a 6" 440cfm inline fan pulling fresh air from another room through the lights and and a 6" 440cfm inline fan with carbon scrubber pulling heat out. Lights are cool but room still gets up to 86 with door closed and 81 with door open. I also have blower pushing air from other room into grow area. My questions are

    1) Should I use portable air conditioner to cool room?(burns a lot of electricity so not a big fan of doing this one but will if a must) or

    2) Purchasing another inline fan with scrubber to help out the the other?

#2 man your temps arent even close to the temps where AC is gonna be required. i haven't ever needed AC for anything 2000w or under

well my temps run about 80-85 i use co2 tho. but 80-83 isnt too bad prefer 75-80 (withoutco2) its a little high but AC comes into play when temps start doing 95+

Are you able to bring in some outside air? I would draw your warm air from the room through your lighting with one of your inlines exhausing it to another location and the other inline I would bring in fresh outside air. One light should not be that big of an issue but if you can't cool the room from inside air, outside air is next before a/c

Sir ganga he is running 3 lights not 1. I would imagine that being its almost summer and temps were im from atleast will be 100 degrees average there is no way i can cool my room with outside air. If your going to be keeping your house at 70-75 use that air. Now not to say that just because its hot out doesnt mean you dont still need fresh air. Its just that hot air to cool something down makes no sense.

So what would be the best way to keep room cool? Im really trying to keep temps down best I can but just have no luck with nothing I try!

I run one 600 w and still have my ac in my window. Your gunna want a 65, to 70 degrees my temps never break 70 that with an ac on for 15min off for 15. while lights are on. Dark period is only 15 mins an hour. Air conditioning is the only way to drop temps fast.

Your intake system isn't allowing enough intake air, if you have a 5 degree difference between door open or closed.
