"First" grow on a small budget

Not having a light holder for the seedling seems to have slowed it down so I need to fix this asap. I do not want to lose this one. I don't think I will though to be honest the 2 set of leaves keep growing but the others browned a little. :/ my bad!

Here's an update of some pruning for light purposes and pics of the top job. Let me know how I did for my first.

job well done sirrr lol, i would have done the same thing, i grew quite a monster my first time in a closet, took a while cuz i only had one cfl and it was the wrong spectrum but it did the job lol u will want to transplant that big one soon tho im sure u kno.

She's about 10 inches and smells awesome. Good news is I should have an interview with the head shop this week according to my buddy that works there.
Would be nice so I can get some good soil, nutes, and a ph meter.
I'll be ready to transplant her soon tho. Hoping the top works its magic over the next 2 days

Hey Bro! Your babes look fine... Good job with the topping! Next time round try Fimming... I find it works much better, giving multiple nodes (4 or even 6). It's also very easy to do (I did it and I'm a newbie!!). You just do what you do when topping but instead of cutting all the way down (100%) at the new shoot you cut 2/3 (75%) of it. Here's a pic of my first attempt in Fimming... Here you can see the 75% cut and at the next picture it's how it looks just 3 days later:

u can still do it, just top ur new tops after they grow some new nodes, then u will have 4 lol and so on. And hopes lookin good man, id take her down in one more week mayb, no matter make sure shes cured right, be patient.

Almost ready to harvest!

Wow... Those buds are really fattening up...nice I suggest buying a magnifying glass 6-10$ or a jewellers loop and have a close look for the signs of being "ready-to-harvest". The Sticky glands that look like mushroom heads start out being transparent (too early). Then they go milky white (almost done). After that they will get amber coloured and start deforming i.e: their head will bend (too late). So you have to be ready to harvest between stage 2 and 3. Take into account that a week before harvesting you will have to flush out the soil... and don't water it for at least 2 days before harvest day!!! Good luck!!

Dude. Today "hope" smells like fucking kush I swear. I was checking the trichs with a magnifying glass and this sweet kushlike aroma emerged and I watered yesterday so maybe by wednesday or thursday she'll be ready?!
