Cfls don't give out almost ANY heat. As long as you have a fan in there to circulate the air, don't blame the heat on the lights.
I think you should get a AC. Or something to lower that temp. The more you can keep you're temp and a constant 75, you're plants will orgasm.. Humidity should be between 50/60. I just spray my plants with a water bottle (mist)
Also the ph should be under 6.0
Good luck mayne

Struggling to increase humidity big time been reading lots of ways to do it but which really works? Dont think i could afford AC how much would we be talking in sterling pounds??? Not got a really good ph meter for soil got one on order and just using bottled water it says its ph 7.2 or i have just got some bottled water at ph 6.1 should i use that instead? Wont misting the plant burn the leaves am sure i got a bit of water on one of the leaves when i waterd the plant and if you look on the last pic it has a few yellow spots what are these?

Thanks mayne

The only reason why it would burn the leaves is because of the temp. Think of the water drying on dishes after the washers done. I mist right before I turn of the lights, so the light or temp doesn't boil the water. I would use the 6.1 but I'd also let the water sit out for a few days for the chlorine to disapere. As for the AC.. You can get a little one they come in all shapes and sizes. I saw one at target for 35$
Little batard, but you don't need the Godzilla of all ACs just to lower the temp. For humidity, (this is another cheap way to higher it) I used to put pans of water in front of the fans, the humidity goes up for sure

Ok mate thanks i do have water infront of the fan but fan isnt very good, as for the water its mineral water its been purified should i just leave the bottle on windowsill? Will the ph increase or decrease when i add nutients to it im only asking because i dont have a very good meter?

A good rule of thumb is 2000 lumens per sqf.. I I were you I'd either let go of one of those lights for now, seeings how the itty bitty plant will get TOO much light, or higher both of the lights. Once the plant gets bigger you put the other one back in.. But that's things just a baby

DO NOT use nutes on that plant! It will die. I use fox farms ocean forest that has enough nutes in it for the first 6 months the plant is in existence.. As for the water, if it's purified I don't see the harm in it.

The waters ph goes up when you add nutes. And the waters ph you have ATM is fine.
If you want, get a better fan, or more pans..

6 weeks my bad..
Don't use nutes for the first couple weeks.. After that use 1/4 of what you're suppose to you for the mutes. Then gradually work you're way up
