So it looks like I am coming into the home stretch with my Kali Mist mutant. I saw the first pistil 9 weeks ago and I'm currently finishing up week 8 of 12/12.

I have been feeding her 10 mL of CNS17 Ripe + 5 mL of blackstrapped molasses per 2 L of tap water for the last several weeks. I usually water every 4 days with 5 L of the mentioned solution. Once a week I have been leeching with ~10 L of water to remove salt buildup.

I am thinking today is the last day of feeding her at full strength nutes. Next week (week 9) I will likely half the amount of my CNS17 Ripe used for watering while keeping the molasses the same. For week 10, after a good leeching with 10 L of tap water I will feed only with molasses. At approx. day 65-70 I will leech with 20 L of warm water and feed with a mild solution of molasses for days 70-74 followed by only water for the last few days until day 77.

I will be keeping a close eye on the tricomes located on the calyxes to make sure I don't see any signs of amber. If I do see signs of amber I will likely adjust my feeding schedule so that I harvest around day 70.

What do you think my yield is going to be from my mutant? She is 37 inches tall and more dense than I ever could have hoped for.

Never any signs of seeds or nanners! If this seed came from a hermied Kali Mist it sure wasn't passed on.

What do you guys think, do you think my plant was a result of a hermied Kali Mist or from a cross pollination?

Thanks man! Yeah she is very dense. I think that the three branch mutation for sure helped with the greater density. Looking forward to seeing an update of your plants.

Thanks! Haha I wish she was this big at week 5. I am till shocked that this density came from 253 watts of CFLs. I have about 2-3 weeks left. The tricomes are perfect for my taste already but I know she will put on more weight in the next couple weeks. I just hope I don't start getting a bunch of amber tricomes in those 2-3 weeks. Your Bubba Kush is about finished isn't it?

I'm not opposed to it, I just have heard a lot of conflicting information when it comes to flushing a plant at the end of harvest. If it will indeed effect the taste of the harvested buds I will probably just use pure water instead.

You probably should, leech out all the salts, ending in better tasting less harsh smoke.

I am at day 58 of flowering. I just leeched with 50 L of pure water and didn't feed with any nutes. I may just use pure water now until I harvest. It is getting close! Smells great! lots of swollen calyxes.

Coming up on the home stretch. She starting to foxtail. She is so dense on her main cola it is hard as a rock. Thinking of harvesting the main cola on day 70 and then adjust my lights and focus on the lower branches for another couple weeks.

Thanks! Yeah I am guessing that 1-2 weeks is what I have left before harvest. It is tempting to let her go longer so that she could put on even more weight. I think if I were to go longer than 1-2 weeks I think would have to feed her again. Decisions decisions.

I don't any experience in estimating yield from a live plant, but if I harvest in two chops by taking the main cola down and then letting the other branches grow a bit longer I think I may net ~4 ounces dry? Does this sound too high?
