Drying in low humidity

So I'm getting ready to harvest but my humidity in my drying room is about 25% RH. How do I raise that up to 45-50% humidity? I'll be using one of the circle hanging racks. I heard keeping the buds close together should keep the RH up some but I don't want these drying out in 3-5 days. I'd like a longer dry like 7-10 days and then cure them from there. I was wondering running a humidifier on a timer or hanging up a wet towel will do the trick? How do you guys dry your junk when the humidity levels are low?

ive never had to hang dry for 7 days, i dry in the same conditions and i end up putting them in jars a lil early like 3 days usually is all i end up hanging for but i keep a close eye on em n make sure there slightly still wet a lil wen i jar....

usually If I wait till the stems snap instead of bend (3-4 days) the buds 50% of the time are too dried out. I guess I can jar them a little earlier and try to keep the drying slow. anyone else deal with this problem?

My plants took 5-6 days to reach some snap, some bend middle ground. I jarred them that way so the moisture would even out if some were dryer then others. You can try the jar/dry repeat method where you dry them for a little while, jar them up for a while, dry them again and rejar them. With low humidity you can leave them out a short time, maybe 2 hours a time, twice a day.

Buy a cool temp humidifier and put it away from the buds. Worked great for me and i have the same RH as you. With the humidifier in my closet i actually didnt need to have a fan becuase i would just put it on its lowest setting and it would need about 5 minutes every hour to get the RH back up to 55-60%. I also used a type of hanging drying rack.

cool, how long did it take for your buds to dry before going into jars for the cure?

so I started choppin and got everything drying out in the hanging rack, I also got a bucket of water under it and my RH is around 45%. Do you think that is ok? I was planing to let them dry for 1-2 days on the rack and then into open paper bags for the rest of the dry. Do you think this will work out?

Nuke- Mine took 5-7 days to dry. I opened the closet door a few times a day for 5minutes, probably useless to do that but i did anyways.

I have this problem my room is usually 16-20 humidity. I started leaving my watering totes open and got a cool mist humidifier and its hovers between 26-34.

You're doing something wrong as even a small humidifier should be more than enough for a closet. Cut out the sitting water as that just sounds like a bad idea to me. Make sure your drying room is somewhat closed up, mine had a gap from the bottom of the door to the floor (shotty workmanship) and it worked fine.

Yes it still smelt great. Use RO water in your humidifier if you live somewhere with high chlorine/mineral content as it will gum up most filters pretty fast. I tested drying in my flower room using black/white poly over my hanging drying racks with the bottom cut out and it worked pretty well but the quality was much better in its own separate room where the temp was more controlled (Lights on/off and such)

so it been 3 days since my first buds cut and they felt slightly dry on the outside but VERY sticky, the stems still bend instead of break. the buds still have a lot of moisture on the inside. so I put them in a paper bag with the top folded once and the RH in the bag is staying at 50%. I'm thinking another 2-3 days and I can start sweating them. Before my buds would be dry and stems snaping at 3 days, this hanging rack is great at keeping up the RH. I also have a bucket of water and a wet towel hanging in the dry room.

Would drying in low humidity say 30-40% be better then dryinging high humidity say 60-70% ? At 80.6°F
