am i missing something ?

Alright guys ive been reading through a couple of threads and ive been seeing people harvesting up to like 7 ounces off 1 plant and other amounts around that mark. In that particular thread the grower only used a 400w light if i read correctly. I am using a 600w hps and currently growing 3 GHS lemon skunks and my estimated yeild people have said will be around 8-9 ounces. This is making me wonder why can so much be produced off growing 1 single plant??

and would it be more productive in the long run to instead of growing 3 or 4 plants to just grow 1 or 2 ?

yields, shmields...............grow well and enjoy. focus on producing good gear, and yields will rise on their own. the more plants you grow, is the quicker you will attain your yield. that's why SOG is the preferred method of doing perpetual grows. yield is what it is, per meter squared for the strain, and for wattage. how you get there, and in what time-frame is up to you.

you should know the crack mate, know one can replicate someone elses grow exactly, and dont believe everything you read on the web, 8-9 of 3 plants is a good result mate, believe me.

any strain, hesi, b cuzz and hammerhead pk............1 x 400, 1 x 600 dual spec hps in a cab 1.2m x 1m x 1.4 hi...........no co2......lights are on 10 - 11 hours per day

Hey man, no offense meant at all. I have a ton of respect for you and the plants you grow. I tried to word that as "non-threatening" as possible. Definetly not trying to start anything. Just wondering. I hear you man, 12-12 from seed bro. That's your mission and much respect for it. I'm trying to spread the word on water cooled grow equipment.

Yields are largely affected by wattage and plant structure. Veg time and plant numbers obviously affect total yield as well which is really what you should be concerned with. Under your 600 with 6-9 plants, it shouldn't be difficult to yield 16-20 ounces. In-short, look at your light footprint and fill it with plants, if you know how to grow then the total yields will come.

Maybe if you lifted your head up from trying to sell Dyna Grow to everyone then you'd see them. 2-3 ounces off a plant your first grow under anything less than 1000 watts and with no help training... if you're in less than a 5 gallon bucket you're doing great - i assume much smaller with coco
also - coco IS hydro - it's just not rockwool - identical yield potential IMO AND
the coco is organic and will better support microbial growth - imo COCO GIVES A NEAR SOIL FLAVOR AS WELL
