yeah they're called fan leaf joint papers, you have dry them correctly though.
havent read up on that yet, google it.Could you tell me how please
yup, keep an eye out for mold, root rot, etc. as soon as you got some root mass they're ready for transplant.Clones all survived and looking all good now i just need to look out for roots so i can put them in soil right ?
read everything i said on the first post, i like to have 2-3 nodes of leaves on my nodes, at least 1 of the nodes is going to wither and be used to put out roots. should take 7-8 days to root.Ok I have another question how big do the clones have to e to make them more sucessful for surviving total length also where the clone is cut at a 45 degree angle wil the branch heal and form more leaves? and how long does this usually take
no, it wont grow back. cutting off a branch or two every day isnt too bad, if you notice her being stressed then slow down and let her grow. once she's branched out too far, you can trash em or top em, could flower them as well but the lack of leaves wouldnt make for a great harvest, topping it and then letting it grow back would help also since she'd already have all that root mass.Ok yesterday I took of clones but have some questions about the mother plants. How long can I keep taking clones from a plant? also when I cut the stalk to take the clone will it grow back in the same place or will not grow back at all not sure what happens exactlyd how ong should this take to happen?
yes, 2 branches will replace the lost branch, if done at the third node(not including cotyledons or "circular leaves") it comes back with 4 branches i think. ive topped an old male, he came back with just 1 stem for some reason but it caused the plant to bush out a bit, which will happen when topping happens but this just means you gotta do some careful trimming, or in your case you may have a few extra clones. remember to leave leaves, without them they cant make energy. but leaves in the shadows are useless, if they're not in direct light the plant wont send as much energy to that area since its not getting the most light. a majority of the energy will be sent to the parts in direct light, and even more will be sent to the highest point/closest to the light source. just some tips to know when your defoliating, also good to know when training.so if I where to cut all the branches maybe leave 2 branches will she grow new branches or will it just grow on the top as new growth
always glad to help, are any of the lower leaves yellowing? i can usually tell thely're rooting well if this happens, means the plant uses the nitrogen and sugars stored in the leaves were converted and used as energy to make new roots. also keep an eye out for spidermites, they can be carried from their mother sometimes.thanks alot bro now just hope the clones survive fingers crossed
who knows, they're like everywhere. i use a mix of garlic, marigold flowers and about a teaspoon of canola oil in foliar spray.not sure yet havent checked them since yesterday ill c if them are how do spidermites come exactly from dust ect ? also lady bugs eat them right would it be possible to order online dont have where i live :S
just wait, preflowers will be coming soon and by the time your clone roots and grows enough to sex you will have already sexed the mother from prefloweringHey guys I want to start cloning to see the sex of some of my plants never cloned before either what is the best size for my plant to be when cloning they all have about 5-6 nodes and are about 1ft tall and the are 1month and 10day old still vegging
garlic and canola can be found at any store pretty much, grocery stores/pharmacies/etc. marigolds can be bought for a dollar a plant at lowes or home depot. i buy about 3 and clone them, for the grow im doing now i even transplanted a marigold clone into my pot. use the flowers only though.ok but where can i get that stuff and do i add this to the water or spray
