Hello,
Im new here but i wasn't sure were to turn for answers. A couple of weeks ago I planted a garden of various plants (not including MJ) in my backyard. When I was finished I took all of the Mj seeds I had picked out of various bags and tossed them in some dirt in an area Where I was trying to grow grass. I had no intention of the plants sprouting, but sure enough today when I went outside to water the grass and my plants, the MJ plants (or at least plants that look VERY similar) have started sprouting. Now that I have plants growing should I leave them as is, or should I move them to a better spot/inside so I can tend to them more?

Thank you all!

Sincerly,
some stoned kid

It's not going to thrive there, although I would be interested in you leaving one or two of the sprouts there. Other wise, get a spade and get a few inches deep in there so you don't damage too much. Transplant into some decent potting soil and you're golden.

If you are in a state that considers marijuana growers to be criminals then dont grow it in your own yard. If want to keep the plants I suggest taking them inside where they will be happy and make you happy in return.

Be Kind.

be careful removing them from the soil, seeds root systems are usually alot bigger than the seedling suggest, for the first week or two when a seed first starts to grow it spends more time producin a root system than leaf growth, so i would dig down alittle deeper than u think, so whatever u think is a good depth to dig go like a foot deeper jus to be safe, also since ul be bringin soil from outdoors into a indoor envroment i would go to a hydro store and get sum predator nematodes, they will eat all the bag insects and insect larvae and eggs, even if u dont see any bugs in ur natural soil when u transplant still add the nematodes cause its pretty hard to see all the type of bug eggs and larvae in natural soil, sum u cant even see with the naked human eye, u can add the nematodes to ur water when u water ur sprouts after transplanting, trust me do this and ul save ur self a headache of bugs down the road cause once those bug eggs get into that warm indoor enviroment they will hatch, if u cant find a local store that carries them u can order them online

Thank you all for the abundance of advice! I have moved two inside using extreme caution when transferring them, and I have left two just to see how they do. Its almost a little experiment im doing to see which will produce better buds, the plants Im monitoring closely or the ones im letting grow on their own. Thank you again for all your help and if all goes well I will post my results on here as well!
