I was, wondering if u could use snapple bottles to cure weed?
Those bottles have a pretty narrow neck - have you thought of how you are going to get it out once cured ?
That's the reason people use mason jars, that and the fact that they are designed to positively reseal upon closure.

Maybe he has very little nugs, if you can't afford a mason jar you are probably dealing in beads

Tough to get out once you drop 'em in... If you don't want to use mason jars, mayonnaisse jars, salsa jars, pickle jars.......
the same thing i was thinking.. a snapple jar's opening isn't very wide, so trying to put in / take out your weed after all of your hard work is going to be a real challenge imo..

imchuck has a few great suggestions.. look in the fridge and see what kind of jars you have in there.. mayo, pickles, peanut butter and many more are perfect for curing so long as you're sure that you get all of the odor out of them before using them...

you can pick up a case of canning jars from walmar for under $10 or so, and i don't know anywhere in the us that doesn't have a wally world close by..

I used a glass jar that was used to hold cherries. Once I cleaned it there was still a cherry smell in the jar but cured some buds nice! I also tried using a sauce jar one time but no matter what I did the smell of marinara never came out! So in short pick a glass that doesn't have smelly contents like sauce or pickles! In all honesty just go to wally world and pick up a 12 pack of ball jars for $8.. Just saw them yesterday actually they have all different sizes also.

I used glass spaghetti jars my first harvest to cure. But they are not air tight like mason/canning jars. It will work, but get some mason jars when you can, they are cheap.

Simple answer: You can use any glass jar that you want provided you want to deal with whatever opening size it has, it is airtight and you sterilize/clean it properly.

Snapple lids never fit on airtight again in my experience...also in my experience, once opened you will never truly get that snapple bottle closed again...Lol. Ever not finished a snapple and it gets knocked on it's side? Mine always leak...,

You really want the jar to be airtight though...I haven't had a snapple in years, but the snapple bottles and those frappuccino things never reclose for me.
