I am not sure how he can solicit opinions on a video by just using words. It would seem the opinion hinges on the video actually being watched. If he actually took the time to type out a lengthy description of this video in his own words, that would be surprising.

Not that some suggestions of time frames wouldn't help. Very long video. I agree it's ridiculous to expect others to watch without providing context.

Ey man i had the highest cahsee (high school exit exam) scores in high school out of all the male students but had a 0.333 GPA. How'd i do that? Im just a smart guy with a problem following orders.

Our area public school boasts a 97% graduation rate but the numbers is skewd. By the time a student gets to his or her senior year the school system has already weeded out the ones with poor grades or social problems and placed them in alternative education programs. These kids are not counted in the overall graduation rates they are so proud of. In real terms our neighborhood had 8 kids start in grade school all at the same time, 12 years later 2 walked down the isle and received their diplomas. Sad but true.

This is completely unrealistic. I would estimate 75% of people would not send their kids to private schools, as they couldn't afford them (because fuck private schools and their greedy attitudes) or couldn't/wouldn't get them there themselves minus the public transit system. Which would result in more, dumber people.



The answer is real education in public schools. Not the sugarcoated "no child left behind" bullshit that's going on now. I could clean up public education in 2 months, the problem is that a smart population is bad for economic growth, military recruits and subservient theistic retards.

To expand on this, I had a 3.6 GPA in high school during my Jr. year but was absent from school more than 12 times (the "legal" limit), they threatened to hold me back and fine my parents if I didn't go to school every day for the remainder of the year. Why would they do this, what would be the point?

Later, I found out the reason was because every day a student isn't there the school gets less money for funding. Attendance, whether you made the grades or not, was a requirement. This is utter bullshit. This is simply and obviously something set in place for a reason other than educating the students. If a student can make grades without being in the classroom, you should shut the fuck up and let them. This isn't how reality works, the reality is, if you're ass isn't in the seat when bell rings, the school gets in trouble. This is a huge flaw in the actual education process of a child.

Conflicts of interest are extremely prevalent within the public education system. (as well as the private prison industry, the military industrial complex, government, etc. literally, every-fucking-thing).

People lie and cheat to get ahead in our society, then act like being honest and righteous is the way to succeed. Fucking lying hypocrites, and that's the best example.

i was booted from HS my senior year for not attending, still had straight A's in all AP classes, only person to get an A in AP english before they booted me.

i got them to admit the same thing, they lose money when i'm not there so i need to be there, straight A's or not.

some people here suggest scrapping the system and privatizing everything, which reeks of mental retardation allowed to roam free. i think a better solution than radically altering our system to one that has never been tried before is to look at successful models like south korea or finland and take some lessons from them, like paying our teachers fairly and based on merit, elevating the profession instead of dragging it down like the righties and the paulites like to do.
