Yeah Pre-98 Bubba has been around a long time, hell Cali Connection even has feminized versions on sale at attitude.. I did hear a rumor a year or so ago that Cali Connection " Swerve" was going to start selling OG Raskal beans but nothings happened as of yet. Once Cali Connection sells them they wont be so rare and hard to get.

You have to get whitefire from a reputable source. OGR only gives out a few hundred packs year round oF his seeds. They are so sought after that people are starting to fake them. Ot saying those companies dont have them, but if you know anything about OGR you'd know he doesn't let just anyone run his genetics.
Cali Connection got a cut of whitefire and now bred it with everything. But lately I've been hearing about a lot of herms coming from them...RED FLAG for me

Not trying to be a dick, but your patients think that because they have never received better. Believe me I have gotten that same answer from many folk saying their patients said their medicine was the BEST...until they got my meds...
like you said many variables so really it comes down to preference. When I say people love my meds it is because they are overall fantastic. Not only in looks, smell and potency, but also in density, taste and overall smoothness of my bud. Whenni rate somebody else's medicine I really break it down. I am the type of smoker that if it doesn't taste good and isn't enjoyable to smoke (coughing a lung out because if harshness) they I pass. I could careless if it was 27% THC if it doesn't taste good it isn't going into my Sheldon. That being said, I'd have to try your bubba before I can make a decision. It looks good but like I said before, to me bubba is like la confidential. Only difference is, my la turns a pinkish purple color which kills a lot of meds out their just in bag appeal.I'm in chandler bro and we should definitely talk. I'm ready to start "trading" but like beaver said...it's very hard to pry these elite genetics from someone who knows what they are.
P.s. a zoned, you are right about these seeds being expensive but if you did research on OGRASKEL you would find out he is one of the best breeders of the 21st century. Some of his genetics have been sold for over $4000...don't believe me look up StArfighter

Yes. That is correct. I deal with what I woudl consider to be "pot snobs" though so although I have no doubt you grow great meds, mine is also quite lovely. I don't get into a pecker contest about it, I hope yours is awesome! Life is too short to smoke bullshit weed.

I don't buy into I just know the time it has taken them to select and breed the "elite" genetics. Don't get me wrong, it is all politics when it comes to these "elite" strains but they are super bomb. Regardless of the price tag or all the hype they truly are some of the best genetics. Have you ever done a side by side? I have and they truly grow amazing. All of the phenos are unique in their own way but all in all it is so e top shelf quality. I know there are great breeders out their as well (Mr.nice, DNA, reserva, TGA, etc) but the saying goes, "you get what you pay for..."

There are fantastic breeders out there and some of these old school strains are still top notch, but you are going to tell me that you prefer Thai stick over chocolope? Or afghani over la confidential? It's old to new...I Gus's it's all preference really

I think there are a lot of understated strains from breeders that you would not think of there are also quite a few garbage strains from the reputable names. I would be wary to believe all the hype that you hear. Ime there is a big difference between a good strain and an amazing pheno. The hype and price is more about consumer confidence and supply chains which is extremely skewed by bullshit and hype. Take the sativa which won the cannabis cup tangerine dream from Barney's farm. They are a great breeder I have grown a few of their strains their blue cheese is amazing. I grew tangerine dream and it sucked looked.more like a Mexican landrace with a slight orange smell. And it was not that good of a smoke. I have also seen and sampled many grows of this strain and they all sucked. At the same time no one growing it would admit that is sucks. Just goes to show that people are fickle and hype is bullshit. How do you think there are seed companies like the doggies nuts?
