Anybody know if the Jackson, MI Farmers market is STILL happening?

Hey all, I been looking into stopping into the farmers market out there in jackson b/c of the variety and prices I keep hearing about but I was curious if it was still in operation. I got about a hour and a half drive 1 way & just want to make sure I don't spend a lot of gas money to see a lot of scenery whilst going home empty handed.

These people on this forum claim it's still up & running on sat & sun from 12-4 but I would like concrete confirmation.

I went last week, it was a great time, prices have come back down again, and I was happy I went.

If anyone will get busted, its not the patents...

I just texted Medcnman and found out they are indeed open and operating. I wondered myself when no one answered your question. He told me he no longer has a table there, and when Belle went she said his meds were the best and there wasn't a close 2nd either. That was several months ago. I would like to hear what everyone is saying that has been there recently.

Thanks for the heads up friend. I won't be able to make it out there this weekend but I will be heading out the next. These damned dispensary prices are just beyond me when they're asking $400 for an ounce. I appreciate the fact that they're open and making bud available to patients in a tight spot but I don't enjoy their prices and since money does not grow on trees for me yet, I like to go to the best spot with the best prices. CG is relocating and starting over from scratch so I've got about a 4-5 week gap to fill until things are ready. I'll most definitely be posting an experience report when the wife and I arrive back home.

was there about 3 wks ago and bought a little taster of the church from a grower there. PRIMO! excellent taste and good med. picked up some clones for a new variety. I still make it that way this weekend. we'll see

I grow the church. People like to dog on Greenhouse Seed Co, but I got a killer pheno of the church from them that has been a staple in my garden for 2+ years. It's really great weed!

I agree, never had any issues with Greenhouse. I'm actually running there Chemdog currently.

if done well it's decent, not weak sauce. has some special swiss sativa in cross so they call it "social" and not knock-out. functional indicas, like Church, can have their attributes. strange musty-earthy flavor but people like it.

not sure who the guy was that i bought it from but he obviously knew what he was doing. nice clean taste and good for some pain. Didn't want to just go to sleep. He was set up at the second table inside the door. Also bought a gram of chocolate chunk from motor city meds and that was alright, no offense but I grow better. still good meds though. I will try to get there today sometime. kinda busy to drop everything and make the trip, but I think I deserve a holiday!!!

I ran Super Lemon Haze and so many people dog greenhouse so I focused on many other strains. I had several people want more SLH. I ordered another pack and their exodus cheese. The pack of Exodus cheese was like $35!? I wasn't even going to re-order it cuz I didn't want it. lol. What am I going to do, not run what a patient wants? lmao. I have several strains going I want, and so I ordered all the requests. lol.

I am scoping this place today and setting up a table saturday as long as it's not some abandoned warehouse crack-shack looking place. The guy I talked to, William, seem up on things and pretty decent fellow. come check it out I'm there saturday. I only have one strain this time ICE mention rollitup and I will toss u some ice hash if I have any left. spread the word, farmer's markets rely on that. I get the feeling its a joe cain seperatist group trying to take that idea and do it right but I can't say for sure yet til I see for myself.

I heard that they would have been open last year, but they were fighting over who was going to be called Bill. Huge court battle. Judge ruled neither owner is allowed to be addressed as Bill. Good luck William & Billy, try not to let the petty stuff hold up advancement in the medical marijuana movement. OK, I am just kidding. Haven't had my joint yet.
