1 month in flower now with Dinafem Blue Widow.Running bare bulb now and I can see trich development more productive from this with A/C and she has her pinesol stench going(intoxicating) just like first run when grown from seed. All organic in supersoil with some ACT 2 times now for feeding the first month. Prob didn't need it but I have some good microherd going when I make tea's so they should balance it out and plants look awesome.

Plant does in fact look good. Very vibrant. The smell really is quite strong. Pinesol is the word for it.

I'm smoking the Blue Widow now and it is pretty good smoke. Not much of a stone but a great long lasting easy going high.

How was yours? I'm asking cos I still have half my plant in the cab still to see if the whaite hairs turn red and retract into the buds.

How did you know your original was finished?

She's a strong indica, Almost overwhelming high. Taste when smoked was that lemon pinesol skunk also its smell. If I remember right it was about 9weeks when I chopped but when I harvested mine all hairs were pinkish reddish and she was frosted like glass.

Just to throw my 2cents in about how wonderfull my Blue widows are. Unfortunatly I had one go hermie on me a while back but it pollinated a white whidow/ak-47 plant. OMG I threw like 5 of the offspring seeds in 12/12 from seed and the nug is absolutly amazing! I've got 4 BW going right now about 3wks into flower and once their done they'll be getting re-vegged now that spring is basically here Unless you live in the Northeast like me and are getting fucking SNOW! but they'll be goin outside to reveg for fall nuggies :)

Happy Growings!

Son of a bitch I found about a dozen seeds here and there. No nanners in sight and been looking like a crazy person. Guess she might have thrown pollen on her self in the bud? just dont know. I have clones of these out to one other person and they kicked into 12/12 couple weeks ago hope he doesn't have same problem but if he does I knw it went hermie. Buds are 5-6weeks along and frosty hopefully she keeps packing on weight and no more seeds.
Also Calihash plant is right next to BW and not a singe seed on her.

when does the blue widow start to stink? or even smell? 3rd week of flower and nothing like my "low odor" northern lights were at this point.

Dude I had an LA one time awesome lookin plant but had seeds I was like WTF!! then one day when breaking up one of the nugs I noticed a Nanner that had developed inside the nug and pollinated that nug... I don't mind pluckin nanners as bad as when you get a plant that goes full herm from seed and has the ball sacks danglin under your nugs

Im sure everyone's is different but my BW's by far have been some of the stinkiest plants behind my LA that reaks when it's still in veg.

My Blue Widow was a total stinker. I was thinking about doing a re veg but the stink makes smell management to be more of an issue which I don't like cos it is more work. Besides that the plant was a total pleasure to grow from start to finish. Tolerant of high temp/high humidity FYI

Prob another week but looking good must of had a shot of pollen at week 6 from the pineapple express that had a hermi bud below canopy but seeds stopped and bud kept growing and still will be bomb smoke.

I'm close to 6 weeks and I too am noticing seeds forming low on my blue widow, only one branch seems affected (mostly one nug). And the nugs still fatten up every day. Don't know where she would have found pollen to have done that

I was curious what you estimate how long the blue widow takes to finish flowering?

Always welcome sir lancelot.

To IslandDelight......More than likely you have a nanner in there somewhere and haven't found it. First run from seed BW took about 8 to 9weeks. After reveging and cloning time was cut down to 8 flat anymore is just degrading.

Just check your hairs if there still popping alot of white then wait. Microscopes help to see what trics are saying. Personally I like a high THC stone and tend to cut when trichs are cloudy/clear usually lately week 8-9.

Well all to sum it all up reveging a plant and taking clones from it doesn't work out so good. There is to much stressed involved and had nanners week 7. Bud turned out more leafy than the original run. And seeds here and there. Take clones people. Thanks for all who pitched in on thread Peace.
