So New Cards are suddenly coming like instantly?

I had a NEW patient, first timer.

his doc gave him the usual speil but said the wait time was 11 months now.......

2 weeks later...I got my card for him already...haven't seen if he got his yet but I assume he did....


so good news? Cards are coming in only like 2 weeks now or is this just because its like my 20th card and they expedite it or something?

They are no longer issued by the health department. You no longer have you name protected by hippa laws. Anyone can now access you and your patients info. LEO,CMH, anyone.

well it is no lie that hippa doesnt protect us anymore..

this was ruled in some cases.

if it did.. we could sue them for switching our information from MDCH to LARA without the legislature's approval.

don't.. check the bottom of the new cards. NOT issued by the health department..issued but the same state board that issues your drivers. any lein search gets your info..state workers are already checkin in protective services inspections.. buy it or not

Yep it says LARA...Licensing and Regulatory Affairs..It looks quite a bit different from the old ones.

the cops can only access it if they pull you over and you tell them your a patient.. then they will call in your patient # to verify that you are indeed a patient... to be honest i dont know why people are scared of the cops if you are your probably NOT following state laws and if you ARE following state laws you have nothing to worry about.. the police aren't out to get you nor do they care that your growing 12 plants for yourself they dont want people setting up rediculous grow ops that are producing 20 lb a month

you are simply wrong. the cops are busting who and whatever they can. state laws are changing everyday.

Maybe true for some cops but this is a very dangerous way to think, cops are NOT your friends, their job is to charge citizens with crimes, they are going to do their job to the best of their abillity....plenty of HARMLESS things are illegal aside from just marijuana.

lol. You guys are both right. There ARE more than a few cops out there. There are those that don't care you are growing legally and there are those that do. Some are your friend, many are not.

all i was stateing basically was that if your not a dumbass and flaunt your shit the cops won't know who you are ive been doing what i do for a LONG time and haven't had any issue's ever..but back to the topic they got there new printer for the cards that produces up to 4000 cards a day and it isn't taking long to get cards now ive gotten a couple cards with in a month of me sending the paper work

Are you familiar with the recent COA ruling regarding any form of residual thc in your system? If not, you may want to look into it. Never tell an officer that you are a patient. It's probably not a good idea to even keep your card in your wallet while driving. It's nice to see someone that has so much faith in the popo's ability to do the right thing by being kind and reasonable. Naïve... possibly... no disrepect intended. Yes, YOU'RE Right... No Fear Always! Afterall, they work for you.
