this is a small annoyance i have with soil grows. my pots have lots of holes at the bottom, so whenever the soil is relatively dry, a little falls out the bottom when i move them around. how do i prevent this from happening? i was thinking of putting some netting, the kind on screen doors used to prevent insects from flying in but i have a feeling that will just clog up and ruin my drainage. any tips please

umm go to any nursery or home depot type of place and they have these clear plastic tray things that are made for that. Just put the pot in it and it will catch any dirt or water that drains out.

After a week or so you should not have that problem. But like dvs says put down trays. Now you got to keep them clean, you don't want problems later. Bugs, mildew, disease, etc...
