Grow

I started 10 seeds from the girlfriends stash of seeds and only got 4 females, I know the disappointment feeling. Hoped I had done a better job than that. But you are correct nice to know you have females from bought seeds.

well i bet it was exactly like my grow dude i didnt do anything wrong no light leaks, 12/12 schedule, lst so the plant was getting hardly any stress. thats just the thing with bagseed you could be using a seed from a hermie which will give you either a herm or fem or male but its more likely since it has the strait it will go herm or male.

G13 purple haze seeds 50 bucks [exactly what i said i wouldn't spend lol] but i really can't pass up a plant that beautiful. I found cheaper seeds like blue cheese and stuff like that but you see those grows a lot i kinda wanna do one outta the ordinary.

plus i can rock out to some jimi and smoke that shit haha! gonna get em ordered when i get paid.

two 5 star reviews on em, plus ill have 3 extra with the grow which will be wonderful. hope things go better this time.

gotta remember youll have pheno variation though, if its an f2 or f3 or even higher then you may get the pheno they showed on the attitude. most plants should have some of their parents characteristics though.

i concur..

bagseed from high grade bag of mango, i got a blueberry pheno luckily
and i pollinated her with a male from another bag of high grade, i think it was cheese or the mango, not too sure.
(iphones dont capture trichs as well but ill have better pics on my journal as soon as i get a better camera)

and from a bag of reggie, i didnt smoke it but a friend gave me all the seeds from an ounce of really old brick weed.
smelled very strong, smoke tasted sour with a somewhat good after taste. great couch lock as well, not 1 seed was found since i didnt pollinate this one, goes to show all bagseeds arent always herms or shit weed.

If only my bagseed was as wonderful. I am quite certain that the strain is dirt weed + pine tree.

well hopefully the reviews on it arent b.s because id think if the color came out weird or undesirable that it would get low reviews. at least ill be upset i dont expect it to look anything like that one on that seed page of course. Something 50% as good would be the shit to me lol! i got bagseed down right now though, they were really dark seeds so ive heard thats always a plus

i think youll have some luck, if it got good reviews im pretty sure you wont regret your order. bagseeds can be good if you treat them right too, i just dont get seeds in the weed i purchase though, i usually see it more often during the fall, i think its cause most of the stuff we get during fall/winter is outdoor, thats usually how it goes in FL.

shit this girls insane, ive seen pink/red calyxs, as well as purple and some have red and or purple veins on green calyxs. nothing ive seen really, one of the most colorful buds ive seen, smells like blueberry muffins too. never know what your gonna get, thats the thrill of growing bagseeds.

that almost sounds identical to what this company claims the purple haze can do. i know they bullshit alot but heres what they put

Purple Haze is darker than most Sativas more deep green of Afghanis. When exposed to lower temperatures at the end of flowering, leaves and calyxes can rapidly change colour from dark green to lavender or violet and sometime blue. G13 Labs Purple Haze smells subtle when plants are growing, becoming rich and sharp when buds are harvested and dried.

should for sure order that strain then, its awesome watching your leaves turn colors and seeing how calyxs respond when you pinch off the preflowers, they turn all sorts of colors. and id give you a seed if i didnt only have 9 so far.
im gonna be crossing her with another strain soon though so maybe ill have a lot more beans pretty soon. this clones a little bit hard for cloning too, i think it was because my clone box overheated though. oddly all the basil and marigold clones rooted fine but the cuttings seemed to not give off any roots. ill give it another try once she revegs. maybe then i can train her all the way around my pot as well, i wanna see how much this girl can harvest out of this 5 gal. should be interesting.

that will be interesting. got a negative review from a user here he said barely and purple and smoke was just decent. im asking him right now if he lowered the temps during flowering as suggested by the website

hmm check out new blue diesel and killing fields from sanniesshop. they get blue and purple phenos im pretty sure. more stable strains as well, he'll tell you the % chance of pheno variations. check out mrs.universe too, that plant has some cool looking phenos.
my girl got purple without cold temps i think it was still 70 degrees out at night.
