If these leo's were held personally accountable to the owner of this property for al the damage they caused while negligently shooting the place up like that for hours on end, I wonder if they woudn't take a different approach. Things like this make me feel certain cops should not have guns and other destructive toys they waste at taxpayer expense, really where did they think they were?

yea we had a stand off in our town last year. cops didnt do anything to he house but called in some sort of swat team and guarded the house for a week. all because the guy wouldnt come out of his house when the cops asked (they didnt have a warrant for arrest). i guess he was crazy or scared cause he was on facebook snitching on ppl and cops and how his life was in danger. sometimes the cops will make a big parade over nothing.

you must live in a small town crime free town, the cops go away here if nobody answers the door. I learned that from listening to police scanners so If they came I just wouldn't answer the door. I live in the ghetto btw

The part that infuriates me is that the cops are not being held liable for the property damage. What kind of lawful society allows that!! cn

It's the same as when they do a street sweep when their warrant has bad info. Watched this over and over again.

Feds in combination especially start doing cold knocking on the worse looking houses because their "bad info" may lead them to finding it/whomever nearby ... Total BS. My tinfoil hat instincts say they got shoddy warrant to specifically do cold knock sweeps of surrounding areas.

In the cases where they aren't allowed in, they usually came back with warrants for those properties.

Over and over again they dont need full investigations or supporting evidence. The judges just sign whatever is put in front of them.

An indeed, how is they are not required to recompensed for damage done in error?

Bah, usual ranting over something far too many people seem comfortable with. "What was I supposed to do?" "They're protecting my kids from (terrorism/drugs/gangs)"

and of course for the ultimate sheep, "Well, I feel safer. What's the problem?"

if u believe what barry cooper says about the cops then the whole system is corupt. if the cops cant get the dealer red handed legally like search warrants and finding drugs then the cops will plant drugs on them. apparently drug cartels use fall guys and tip off the boarder officials so less heat is on them and the government earns their quota to get funding from the USA. its all corrupt. dont smuggle drugs from a country and expect to bribe a cop if u get caught, they just lock u up anyway.

I knew a woman who said she had a chance to bring 4 kilos of coke across a couple of states, when she had crossed the state line and stopped for gas the cops pulled in right behind her and asked to search her car. They went right to the trunk and immediately found it, they didn't even put on a show. Complete set up. After they pulled out the package they stopped searching the car. This fall guy strategy is used a lot more than people think. I'm sure the truckload of coke made it through just fine that day.

No lawful society.

Societies that view the general populace as serfs however - in those societies definitely. Let's not ignore how many pieces of property get seized courtesy the drug war, even without charge.
