So by that reasoning you would prefer a 10 ton school bus versus a Lamborghini Gallardo ?
Quality is always my first priority with quantity running a very very distant second.
And since we are talking about flushing, I have a little dissertation by Riddlem3 that may shed some light on the issue.
I'll try and dig it up when I get to my other computer.
From what I've been seeing, organic doesn't seem to have the edge it used to in regards to quality...
Maybe because of advancements in chemical ferts
Maybe because the genetics have been supported so far back by chemical ferts and adapted that their more used to them
Maybe more people are learning how to properly use nutes..
Or maybe I'm seeing a difference as my own experiences grow in number
Whatever it is.. A few years ago I would have told you the best tasting bud I've had was organic and in soil. That's changed and I feel pretty sure that the best stuff I've had (have) is from coco.
It stands to reason that as science advances and we learn more, the chemical industry should surpass organic.
Organic still has a place though. Purists love it and for good reason. We've seen time and time again that a product we give our plants cause them to absorb harmful elements that may in turn be transferred to the user. I'm not saying all chemical fertilizers are a risk (I only grow with chem) but the chance is always there that something has unknown effects, compounds, reactions, etc.
So there's a place for everything.
