btw those uvb lights you are attempting to use for enhancement will NEVER produce enough uvb for any effects

they emit over 400 uw/cm2 at 12 inches
I also use this as well and use it for the entire time the lights are on

This will produce the effect your are seeking which ie more of a creeper effect as well as trippier more up...seems to also enhance thcv levels if the genetics are there as well

so you want me to change out 160w Powersun UVB 10.0 bulbs for 54w fluoro tubes. these bulbs put off the same exact spectrum but at higher wattages. several experienced growers that i know use these same bulbs.
please do not post in my journal anymore. i have asked you to leave several times.

or for the mega ray zoos yes...get the meter and you will see that wattage bears little as to uvb produced...it is the glass used that matters most...this is real shit I am sharing...was not trying to put you down but rather show you what does work...dude I have been growing a long time and learned and am learning and only sharing what I know...if you do not have a uvb meter you have no idea if you have enough uvb...at least read about the meter and megarays and you will see I do know

dude I know we got off on the wrong foot....but let it go...I am not bs ing about the info and was not putting your choice of light down in any way...jus wanted to give you the info and data I found from researching the effects of uvb and what it takes to make it occur...I wasted alot of time and money running down what works and wanted to save you that...you grow really well for your experience level...really had no issue wiith you...it was with...well never mind who but it wasn't you...jus sayin

Sorry to intrude. Please let me begin by saying that I love your grow. Got tuned in after the drama. And dig ur swagg. That being said do you have any updates coming soon or have you started a new journal. If so I just wanted to know if I could be party to watching it has been a great show so far I would not want to miss the end.

for soil, shoot for room temp water. some people use ice water to flush plants, i dont think this should be done unless its the last day or two and you want to induce stress and cause the plant to throw out its defense mechanism which is resin, but i dont do this because i believe you should let them dry out and use their fan leaves as their last source of energy. mjs defense mechanism reacts to cold temps, even their roots. this can shock them though, these low temps cause lock outs im pretty sure.
predators also cause mj to react, most environmental stresses force the plant to do this. unless the plant is bred to grow in low or higher temps around 65-68 degrees, mj will turn colors like purple, blue, white, pink, etc.

thanks crazy. i had heard about using cold water for the final flush before you went to darkness. supposed to help speed up the dark cycle. cut it from 3 days down to 1-2. wanted to see if feeding my plants in soil 64 degree water would be a help at all like it is in hydro.

yeah if you do it during mid or late flower it can kill them or stress them though depending on how big they are and their pots, they may have plenty of roots that dont get stressed.
i think reservoirs can get that low, might wanna ask someone who knows about hydro better than me, maybe hellraizer or heisenburg. theres lots of advice our hydro category has, i just dont ever use it since i always grow soil. its just simple enough for me, i can leave for long periods so its pretty convenient. .
