why cant I get big buds on my plants?

Hey smokers. I have a critical+ auto and a lowryder#2 auto. I have them outside they get plenty of sunlight. I have them in 2 gallon pots with fox farm ocean forest soil. I get alright size buds but I seen like huge buds from other peoples plants. I wanna know what I am doing wrong? what does it take to get bigger thicker buds?

I have tried that. I give love, water, nutes. I just thought in sun they would bud bigger. The buds are already getting finished but they are just airy and fluffy.

yea I may have too. The last lowryder#2 was covered in buds but not thick buds. I got close to an ounce wet off her, but when she dried it was like just over a 1/2 ounce. so I am growing my last lowryder#2 now and the critical+ was free.

Better genetic's my friend! you can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit! Ask you friend's for some really productive seed's..see what other's are growing first hand and choose a variety like trainwreck of almost any non auto.. wishing you the best!

Keep in mind it's like fast food pictures ... There's the perfect pic which has been sprayed with hair-spray and photoshopped, and then there is what you usually get in the bag.

Ruderalis genes tend to suck IMO. Love the little guys and gals but dont let em in the house. Ever.


When you pull em check your root ball for health and vigor as well. You may have had something else going on here. But just for grins and giggles. Dont try and dial in crappy beans.

And if you're only doing a plant or two, you can force flower very easily on normal genetics.

You'll have to ditch the autoflower plants and use bigger pots.
