They usually don't test for male/female pee. And if they test you for pregnancy i'd scream foul anyway. Be careful, though. Not every place tests urine anymore. Some places do blood tests and spit swabs. They're easy to pass if you don't smoke for a few days before, but you can't fake them.

They all are testing that way, you must have got a high lab tec that messed up or forgot to test. they test to see if ya used a flush and all kinds of crap now...like someone said it is hard to hide anything now and a fail will be in computer for ever....find clean male piss even if ya have to pay someone . I went to the job interview, spoke to the CEO for about two and half hours, and he gave me a tour. He said he had two more people to interview so I'm now waiting for a call back. I didn't get drug tested yet, so I'm going to continue not smoking for a while. So while it sucks that I have to wait to find out if I get the job, each day that passes is in my favor.

I also keep buying marijuana drug testing kits, but so far I always show up positive for THC. I'm honestly debating if I can't come clean maybe I should just be totally up front and say, "I'm fine with a drug test, however I do smoke weed for anxiety after it was recommended to me by my doctor as an alternative to Ativan." The CEO seems cool, but who knows and that's so risky.

The job is a high-level IT position for a medical center that does DOT drug screening and work injury related therapies. I would have to monitor people's surfing habits and work with their existing IT team. The company has roughly 300-400 people, so they're pretty big. They also have labs in house so they won't be sending my samples out to Labcorp or any place like that. However this makes me more worried because the CEO can easily walk over to the lab tech and talk to him about it. If the tech so much as suggest that it's 'fishy' or questionable then that could be the end of it, regardless if I technically "passed" with synthetic urine.

You can do the test at home by yourself. When you shake up the sample, male urine foams. Female urine should not.

I don't know what the laws are like in America for job interviews, but here in Canada it's considered unethical (in some cases illegal) to get drug tests from people. If you are found to have a drug problem here, your employer can offer you on-the-house counselling/support.

Check the laws for your state whether you're obliged to take a drug test or not. Tell your employer that it's infringing your rights if it does get to the point you have to give the pee. This is a highly unethical practice and drugs should not determine whether you can get a job or not, ESPECIALLY marijuana which has been proven to give health benefits to people.
