Excellent news on the unfurling! Now, the next time you water (make sure she needs it first...) give her about 1/2 strength nutes... she will eat it up and reward you nicely. Then go back to water only for the next couple of times. Continue to alternate two plain water with 1 nutrient feed through the rest of the cycle and you'll be amazed at the results. Just watch her fan leaves and she will tell you if she needs more nutes.yay bluejeans! i love having an internet grandma. lol. yeah my wife had thrown her back out and they proscribed muscle relaxers. she took a few the first day or two now doesnt need em anymore. tons of extras. she doesnt smoke anymore so thats out, but she seems to be doing better. good diet, exercise and stretching. works wonders.
about to go check on everyone. propped open the propagator yesterday so today or tomorrow i will take the lid off completely. waiting to see the first roots, then its time to go buy hydro stuff.
OH AND IN OTHER NEWS after just water last time, all the leaves are already starting to de-curl!!! pretty amped. i mean its not definite but it seems that they are straightening out...stoked!
And when you are ready for something new, come over to my thread and check out the coco recipe I use. It is very basic, very simple, and almost impossible to get wrong. And cheap too. And the results are simply awesome.
Another tidbit of advice... if you are at the point where you've got the prop lid open, then it is time to set up your hydro bucket. You want to get everything running and let it run without a hitch for at least 24 hours before you attempt to put your plants in there. For one thing, running it 24 hours in advance will give you a chance to make sure everything works like you want (including any timers), and having your airstones running ahead of time will super oxygenate your water for the young plants.
What nutes are you going to be using with they hydro?
