I think no one has responded because of your wording, I think its the "twice a week 2day" part.
Im interpreting that he told you TODAY that he flushes twice a week when he adds nutrients.
If that is correct, then no that is not necessary whatsoever and is probably wasting nutrients.
I only flush twice throughout my grow. Once after vegging to clear soil for new flowering nutes, and also flush obviously when I am about to harvest.
Flushing is to get rid of excess nutrients/salt buildup.
If you are giving the plants proper nutrients there is no need to flush this often.

I do a mid flower flush too.. I think it helps keep your end results cleaner

yea see this guy told me for example.. Nutrient plants on Monday / Flush wednesday / Nutrient on Thursday / then Flush Saturday

every week entire cycle.. which doesnt make sense to me at all...

so basically i only need to flush them at end of vegging and then mid flower and before harvest

haha been to baked to realize you had helped me out with my electrical question.
After you and everyone else helped me out I wanted to try and help someone out and clicked yours and didn't even look
at your name ha.
But yea I personally have never heard of anyone watering like that, but hey if he likes it thats all that matters ha.
Maybe he just doesn't know what the term flush means, and meant he just waters with regular water every other water and
doesn't actually "flush" the plant.
And you dont really need to flush at all during the grow except harvest which some people skip as well.
Flushing after veg and before harvest though is what I do and it hasn't failed me yet.

I think he ment for you to feed/water/feed/water. when you do that you want a 10% run off when you water so you know it is knocking some of those salts out. Don't feed everyday. you have to wait for it to need moisture before you add it other wise you will run into a lot of problems.
