a main-lined plant will be quite a bit shorter than one left alone......if you want to have a longer veg time, to get longer donkeys, you can......but this is where the strain becomes uber important.....it works best with a strain that exibits "single-cola dominance"......and resits secondary branching..........
....for an example, i plan to run an 8 plant outdo.....i will crack the seeds on the last day of may (will be using clones also).......build them and veg them for 7 weeks in the greenie, transplant to 20 gal smarties, dep them for three weeks to get them started, from 23rd of july to aug 14, then set them outside......they will be two feet tall, at the time i start the dep.....16 heads, and finish around 40 inches on Oct 1st, yeilding 12 zips each......
....always helpful to have a game-plan, and expectations..........being full ready to "bob and weave", making adjustments along the way.....i am thinking about starting an outdo journal, but only if the interest is there......anyone interested?
i think this might have answered my question but I was going to ask:
should I be doing more heads for outdoor? you do 8 for your indoor, but those plants are only yielding 4 oz or so... so they are 1/2 oz heads... when your going for a lber plant outside do you want more heads? say 32?!?
