I know it may sound like a lot to bite off, but its very simple super cheap and would take about 10 minutes..I alway try to do things that can be undone without anyone ever knowing!...this can all be done. You wont believe the improvment in the plants from these few things..you can do it

Door open would be fine as long its TOTALLY Blacked out during the dark cycle....but you still need to exaust the air out, If you have an attic hatch just get a piece of wood that size, cut a hole in it 4" replace the attic cover with your wood piece and hook a 4" fan to it...your good to go with that set up aswell

Oh ok. Still need to exhaust the air out.. Ok cut the hole out, hook up fan. Oh yeah and someone else said a cooling hood I thought?? or maybe I am getting threads mixed up, HAHA. Probably. The attic door thing sounds way easier. Yes the dark period for the plants is 1230-430am right now. That is what I have the timer set. That room stays unoccupied at night, so it stays pretty much pitch black. I have black out curtains on the window, and I leave zero lights on at light, since I am monitoring my energy more closely now, with the MH light going 20 hours a day.

sounds good, you only need a 18/6 for veg...20 on is to much. try 18 on untill you flower, then 12/12..

cooling hood is good but see if the air exchange will cool enough before you spend much money, if your condo stays cool it should be fine

Oh ok... cooling hoods are pricey?? Really 18/6? I read soo much stuff that is contradicting.. I see ppl saying they leave the lights on 24 hours!! Then I see 18, 20..

you can do 24 hours of light with a t5 light for mother plants or clones...but at your stage 18/6 is the recommended cycle.....i know it gets confusing when you hear so many different things. I go off what has worked well, I also have read every Cannabis book on the planet. The Cannabis grow bible is the best. You can pick it up for around 25$. There is a science to it but its pretty easy... if you just do a few things right you will be rewarded nicely. No matter how fantastic, its still just a plant!

Then you can still leave the closet door opened, and point a fan in the room from the ac/d bedroom.
You can also download cannabis grow bible on 4shared

The spots on your plant could also be light poisening and or heat stress.....hince the 20 hours of light.

Yup Marc!! That was my conclusion too. It occured right away when I placed the plants under the 400MH. The person i got the clones from had them under flourescents. I immediately raised the lights and no further burn spots have occured and they seem to be resuming back to normal growth, except for the one, it did seem to get a little stunted for a few days there.

Lol problem avoidance would be great!! Since it's my first time growing, I am learning. I can read about different plant problems all day long and how to avoid problems, but reading and actualing doing are two different things. I dont seem to really learn about it until I experience it, ya know?? :D If I could download the file for the book for free, that'd be awesome!
