Seed Shipping to grow spot

How many of you actually get seeds shipped to where you grow? I have only done it once, but it was inside the country so I guess that really doesnt count. Just curious really, thanks.

i think a lot of people do...
a lot of people will say to send them some where else, but i don't.. :)
i don't see the big deal, if the worst thing that can happen happens, ie, customs snagging them, what are they going to do?? i have had one order a few years ago caught by customs, and before i got the letter or the seeds, i had contacted the breeder, sannies, and told him it had been about a month or so and no beans, so he simply resent them..
exactly one week later, i had my order in my mail box.. back then his shipping was very easy to tell apart from other mail.. then the very next day i get the mail again, and had another package from sannies.. i was super excited at first, till at closer inspection i saw that my order was stapled shut, and inside of it was the dreaded letter saying someone tried to mail me a form of contraband..

so by my reasoning, when customs catches contraband, the person ordering them doesn't get put on any sort of watch list, or i never would have gotten that second order, nor the 100 or so since that time..
also, i have yet to hear of any sort of law enforcement coming to a house that had ordered seeds online..

By federal law, its illegal to possess seeds.
Meanwhile, customs job is not to let the contraband into the country.
So if customs finds any, they're not going to send the seeds to you; they confiscate them!
Meanwhile, if they're confiscated, you don't "possess" them, do you?

Anyway, I can definitely see why you might be paranoid about having seeds sent to your home, but in practice, I never heard of anyone actually being busted over this.

Customs policy, as above, is that if they identify seeds, they confiscate them and send a note to the recipient saying so.

They simply don't have the time, resources, or inclination to open up a Federal drugs case over a few cannabis seeds, especially when they've got literally hundreds of thousands of packages and letters to go through, looking for actual drugs, weapons, and other contraband.

If customs doesn't snag the seeds, there is basically no chance anyone else will down the road from them. Its against Federal law to open up sealed mail, and even law enforcement can't legally do it without a search warrant.

it's been a while since i've seen any scary posts on seed busts
there were a few, but that's getting to be about 6-7 years back
i live in a pretty tame part of the country, but there are plenty of meth/crack/opioid pill busts to keep the local LEO's busy
probably the bigger danger is local, if you live in tiny town, USA, and someone in the local post office or your UPS guy like to make your business their business, that's what i worry about
not likely, but i want good stealth in my mail box
