Newbie with possible light burn ?

Sativs will get very tall...12/12 early...at least 4 nodes

It's all about the size they will stretch after switching to 12/12. To about three times the current size and more size Alot of time means more bud

Mine go from clones to about 22" in 3 weeks...Hydro grows much faster than soil...

OK.. I was thinking of vegging for a few more weeks. They haven't done any stretching, just bushing out. The guy I got these from, his were over 4' and only 8 weeks old, but he had them flowering. One of them is tied down, doing a little experimenting. I was going to tie them all down due to space, but I ordered the tent, so it wont be necessary is seems like. When do you top the plant??

if your strain takes well to topping i would do it any time up to a week before flower and them lst them

i all ways top my plants, i want as many bud sites as close to that light as i can
that's why scrog works so well and the yield is so high

make sure you have a good root mass in the pots before you flower
bigger root mass means bigger yield

Ohhh! Makes sense. Ok good to know. I keep wondering if maybe I am vegging too long because some people dont veg at all. It's all new to me. I was thinking, too, I'd want to get the nutrients and stuff figured out before flowering and get them used to whatever regime I end up doing. I think I will order the bio bizz stuff today.

Jason, SCROG is mainly used if you have space limitations? So with topping, it will produce higher yeild, possibly, then if I don't top?

if you top your plants it wil make the plant bush out with more bud sites
you need longer in veg but you will get more root mass
so you should get a larger yeild
check uncle ben's topping forum
scrog
keeps a plant at a set hight
and grow under a screen
when u flower the nodes grow through
the sceen and you will yeild a lot

Carry on what your doing with the nutes and light perhaps higher it a little,but have a fan blowing from side to side across the top of the plant this will mean that no heat is over the plant for too long.This is what i mean about getting the wrong info.ph this could fuck this guys grow up if you have not done many grows to know heat stress then don't answer,or if you done loads 1000000's of grows but not getting a decent yeild then just don't answer.the plant has good coulour and is growing perfect nice tight nodes this will mean a very nice yeild if it continues to grow in the same manner.

Yes I did!! I have it bookmarked. I've been watching Jorge Cernvantes's video on youtube and I like how he breaks everything down so simple. I kind of just got thrown into this and his video is painting the bigger picture for me. I really like it.
