I dunno, judging by his setup, and the space he's growing in, he might want a little mini SOG...If you veg too long with that many plants that close together in a tote, it turns in to a trainwreck. Trust me, I did 4 in an 18 gallon tote my first indoor grow, and vegged them to about twice the size of his plants...when I flipped it was a nightmare...I think he made the right choice. After all, he's new, gotta get a feel for things first...baby steps. We can't all harvest pounds our first couple of grows.Umm you're flipping them now? What are you looking for 12" high plants?
They do like nice for early veggers, but flowering.. umm.. no. Might have jumped a bit fast there skippy.
Totally agree!very healthy.
Good luck with your pounds harvest.. I am legal in my state and no where near that. Also yes thank you for the paragraph explanation of what I already knew but with limited details provided by the OP (besides him mostly patting himself on the back) we don't have the appropriate data to form a conclusive reply. There could be tons of explanations of why he flipped them when they pretty much look like seedlings, I would rather ask the obvious then deduce like your paragraph that a 'newbie' has already stepped up to rational thinking about growing.I dunno, judging by his setup, and the space he's growing in, he might want a little mini SOG...If you veg too long with that many plants that close together in a tote, it turns in to a trainwreck. keebo, looking good bro. You planning on finishing those plants out in the tote they're currently in? Sounds solid if you are...Should get a bunch of nice little kolas, keep em green and healthy...Treat them well, and they'll treat you well....nicely done!
Hey "bro", you kinda came off as a dickhead. I was just trying to encourage the new growers, as opposed to coming in with an attitude. We wanna make RIU a welcoming place for growers to come together and share. It looked like he has space constraints, I was backing up his decision to flip.Good luck with your pounds harvest.. they are under 600 mh if thats what you mean? until sunday when i change res and bulb to 600 hpsFourth day of flowering? Looks like you still have 6500k on it?
I'm a noob, too. Couple of hours into flowering 3 26" plants (looking great!), but I don't think it's time for this guy to flower.
You're right about persuading the new growers to continue but I also think it's right to throw in a little advice. Like, a person (Keebo or anybody) can do research of their own after they got advice from a source (the guy he got the cabinet from) just to be for sure.
I truly don't know much about growing and I browse this site every single day just gaining more and more knowledge from constructive criticism.
Question: Could he at least veg for a little longer? (I don't know, just assuming.... And you know what happens when people assume )
Yeah, I hear ya. Just trying to help my fellow growers out with the little advice I can give.i completely agree. but as i am a noob, i figured the people to talk to about growing in a specific cabinet would be someone who has grown in it already, even better the person who built it. but although this is my first grow. it will by noways be my last, Experience has always been the best teacher, so i welcome hiccups they will ultimately make me a better grower. i appreciate the advice,... Hell i even appreciate snide remarks, i think they are cute and extremely hillarious.... and also in a strange way informative so keep'em comin people... reminds me of an old NBC commercial "the more you know the more you grow!!"" lol
Yeah he's a doucheHey "bro", you kinda came off as a dickhead. I was just trying to encourage the new growers, as opposed to coming in with an attitude.
agreed........................Yeah he's a douche
