trimming plant?

my plant has been budding for about 3 weeks. the whole time i have been trimming lower leaves that were lookin kinda weak anyway. my plant looks a little naked now, unlike most plants that look full. but it also looks like its working because its been budding for a while.

sorry my question wasnt clear my friend posted this thread but i was wondering if trimming the plant is ok and if so how many leaves can you trim while managing to keep the plant alive

your trying to lollipop? because in a SOG grow, lollipoping is preferred.
