One thread does not make me or anyone else who uses this method wrong, which turns out to be more than I thought among some larger scale growers I know.
I work on things out of practice, trial and error anything anyone writes I generally take with a grain of salt until I've tried it, especially with the amount of mis-information out on the web these days, everyone growing pot has a lot to learn, you can never know everything about everything, always new things to find out.
And well the results speak for themselves, flick through the 1st, 12 pages or so of InsaneMJ's thread and after trying it myself for the past month... He used it as a Veg cycle. As plants only need 13 hours of light a day to stay in veg.
From what that forum states, I think is a bit 'off', OR they are counting the 1st, 3 weeks of flower from when they first see pistols. YES when a plant has been in 12/12 until sex has shown and you then interrupt the night cycle with 1 hour of light they will most likely herm. But exclusively using it as a veg cycle works great as an energy saving method.
