what is the cheapest light i can get by with ???

I am only growing 1or2 plants in a 11/2x11/2 & 3 ft. tall cabinet what is the cheapest light i can use ??? I dont want to have to buy different lights or pay alot... Now i have a 75watt 2ft. under cabinet one, will it work or do i need to get different ??? Iam growing auto females if it matters

going cheap on lights when growing plants is like going cheap on a parachute when you go sky diving.

i wouldn't even consider it. if you have a set amount and quality of weed that you're hoping to get, you need to get a light to match

Ok, im not looking to get alot, what can i use that can say be bought at walmart or somthing that wont break the bank & also not have to be changed on all stages

no i get it, but the first thing you need to realize about growing indoors is that the sun is so so so so much better than most of what we can make, and if you use the bottom of the line, it's going to produce some bud that is NOT going to be very enjoyable. especially if you are used to sun-grown bud. you can get by with CFLs but it involves a lot more work, as you need to trap 100% of the low-penetrating light inside of the room with mylar, and keep the lights extremely close to the plants

HEy bro do listen to these fools ... Well listen to them cause thief right but thier is a way to grow with little money check out my thread I'm using nothing but an aerogarden look it up and my plant is small but beautiful everyone is asking what I'm doing ... Cause it looks so good ..... I didn't use a fan I'm not using andything to circulate air but leaving my window open and my stem is thick as hell leaves are beautiful green and the first fan leaves to come out in the start of the whole plant are still green not sign of dieing away it looks extremely healthy and it's jus bin growing around my house .... Put it to flower about a week ago ... It showed menits vagina ...so excited but of my one dumbass aerogarden I'm expecting 2 ounce + so don't let no one tell u different ... If ur plant ain't growin get more light if leaves are turnin check ur ph or ur watering tech ... Jus pay close ATt ... I'm 1 mnth and half in and it's going awesome with my 100 dollar set up check out my pics

You could of course use cfl's but to me they are not efficient unless you have 3 or more. I personally am using T5 florescent and they work great. a 2ft 2 bulb system will cost around $80 or so. They usually come with 6500K bulbs good for veg but then you need to get 2700K lamps for flowering probably an extra $16 for the bulbs that's what I have and I can grow 3 or 4 small indica plants....Good luck my friend.
