thanks nugs, nope, I haven't pulled her out of the cabinet in awhile. But here's the whole cabinet at day 51--the qt bud shot came from the one in front, the cola is easy to shoot without pulling plants. WHich I should do more often, but I use multiple blumats in the pots and it's time consuming to re-set and refill them.

I let the cabinet get way too crowded this run. I'm still about running a lot of strains, not growing for yield, but just topping these once and doing a little lst they spread like mofos. well, several of them. One QT stayed small (far right, in front). One went real tall (far left, back). the two vortexes are also very different sizes. For scale, that black bamboo cross piece, which I use for support instead of stakes, is about 36" from the bottom of the pots and it's just over 4' long.

Next run (mostly JTR) I gotta cut the numbers down to stay healthy in this small space. I also had a lot of foxtailing, which I think means I had much more N in the soil than I had guessed--it's recycled soil, and I added fresh ewc, maybe too much. I thought they would all be more faded my now.

cool, thanks for the details......i fucked up on one of my vortexes, and hit her with a N blast when she started to fade early, and she got foxy, and fluffy.....she will be my tincture/ butter babe. what is that super long cola front left?

nugs, that's another QT - really different pheno from the one that has purpled up and that yielded the nice bud shot. I'll know more about it when I pull them out tomorrow, and possibly harvest. But I failed to get a clone of that tall one, not that I'd want to keep it anyway with that growth habit, so I haven't paid a lot of attention to it. I found QT a lot more stubborn than Vortex to clone. On the N blast, the wierd thing with mine is that I added absolutely nothing to this grow other than water, and some top dressing of comfrey. But I did have a period of watering during pollen season here when the water (out of a rain barrel) was almost yellow with pine pollen, and there was a lot of oak pollen in there, too. I tried a little of that water on some seedlings, seemed fine. Now I wonder whether a lot of tree pollen in water adds a significant N dose ???

i bet the pollen was it bro!....wait till you see my qt, she looks so different....kind of a freak, almost pure urkle, without the purple....kind of boring looking, but the heaviest, densest rocks you will ever see.....i will take some shots in a few days....

coupla vortex buds showing the foxtails that I think were caused by large dixie doses of tree pollen in rain water
