Perpetual Grow - Lighting Question

I'm planning on doing a perpetual grow with 1 to 2 plants finishing everything month, attempting a 1 to 2oz dry yeild a month.

The thing is I'm using CFLs, which you try to get to 1-3in from the plant. If I have one plant half way done, and one just starting, my lighting will be too high for the new plant.

I have some ideas flowin' but would like to hear what others would suggest.

Thanks,
AllDay

I have a 400 w hps perpetual and I also have plants of all different heights. I use buckets, bricks, cat litter tubs, paint cans, whatever I can to even the canopy. It's always a challenge but not difficult.

Well I could do that no problem, typical me over thinking things. I was going to try some very complicated stuff, but bricks will do fine.

Thanks.
