Good Morning Fellow Stoners:

I've got a doozy today. I have reason to believe I have a drug test coming up. Of course I know the basics:
1) Put the bong down, and bongsmilie
2) Start drinking LOTS of water.

OK. I'm a little late getting started, but OK. Now, my friends advised me that fake urine is an option. I guess they haven't had much success with the cleansers. (I never had an issue with them. I tested 2 or 3 times using that stuff with no problem.) I always dismissed the fake pee as "too good to be true", but I was thinking about trying it this time. But the problem is this: They always ask for your prescriptions. I have epilepsy and so I have to take meds for it every day. LOTS of meds. I have always passed tests with cleansers before, and always listed my scripts. I also take Ambien and birth control pills. Intrawebz research has led me to conclude that the birth control and one of the seizure meds won't be a problem (Lyrica), but even without searching I know the Ambien will show up. Duh. (If it's fun they look for it.) The other seizure med (Lamictal) is a toss-up. Some places say it comes back reading as angel dust (YIKES!)

So, if I use the fake urine, would they NOTICE that none of that stuff is in my pee? :?:

Now does anybody have any recommendations? It is for a hospital so I am sure they will have something in there to detect any cleansers, but I know there are some that are unfindable...

EDIT:
I have not had to take a drug test for anything since 2007, so I am sure the products- and the detection methods for finding them- have changed...

Sorry, no idea, I haven't preped for a piss test in over 10 years.

I'd look for a company that's been in business for a couple of decades, for a start.

Most drug tests are looking for specific things. They ask you to list your meds because many can cause false positives. The only way they would be able to check for other meds is by doing a GC/MS test, which is what they use to confirm a positive test. It detects very specific metabolites at very miniscule quantities. My recommendation is to use the fake pee. It works as long as you keep the temp in range. Follow the instructions and you're golden (pun intended)! lol! Good luck bro.:bigjoint:

But it doesn't need to be your kidney. Do you know someone on the same meds but minus the discretionaries? That'd be a thought. cn

Unnecessary IMO. They won't be looking for, nor do they care WHAT is in your piss unless it's one of usually 6-12 illicit substances. Certain LEGAL prescription meds can cause false positives and they want to know what you are taking up front. That way you when they tell you that you failed for heroin, you can't say, "Oh, I forgot! I'm on Oxycontin and Vicodin!" lol! Only if you fail for one of the "screened substances" do you get the more in depth and dreaded GC/MS. That can tell pretty much anything you are on, but if you are clean to begin with, then you don't have to worry about the confirmation test.;-)
