You will know, there will be balls, as is I hope you got some. Balls are round period. Too early to make the call give it a week. If you see a round ball than rip em out. Not all of them just the ones with balls.

if you see them on there, pictures 4 and 5, you will see ants bossing the aphids around

Your just going to have to wait a little more to fine out. If you see white flowers and sacs on it,it's a male.

aphids are like vampires on your plants. in the nodes of your plants on the pictures i previously noted there seem to be bugs. look under your leaves and on the stems I saw something in your pics
