what astonishes me is that you chaps say the brits are sooo pompus and arrogant and how you hate people like that and would never be like that. Then the very first thing you need to do when you get here is to go and stand outside Buckinghagm Palace in the freezing cold rain to take photos. Jesus wept
You're right that is stupid.

The only thing in England I need to get a picture with is Steve Harris.............or Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards. LOL!

Holy Sunflower Seeds! I can't believe they are doing this in England! It looks like this girl might have been murdered by her parents. The police secretly put a listening device in their home.

From the article:

The court heard that police had secretly put a listening device into the Ahmeds’ home in November 2003 when Shafilea Ahmed was still considered as a missing person.

Farzana Ahmed was heard telling one of her other children, “if the slightest thing comes out of your mouth, we will be stuck in real trouble. Remember that,” ITV News reported.~

I thought that in England your home was your castle. Is this legal over there? Here's the link to the article:

Absolutely not legal to bug peoples homes without a warrant. There's a huge scandal involving the Daily Rags in the UK and the bugging of people. It's rife as we know but of course it's all done illegaly. But then they are the good guys right?

I dunno about how they are perceived by the middle classes but generally the yanks are looked up to over here - You're like our big twin brother.. American tourists however are seen as loud, sometimes arrogant, out-going people who all think we know The Queen..I've always loved the American way of life, your film industry, lifestyle, the beautiful muscle cars.. if it wasn't for you guys I would have never found, BMX, Beastie Boys, Weezer, Cypress Hill, Public Enemy, Herbie Hancock, Saturday Night Life, Chevy Chase, Martin Short, Richard Pryor, Bill Murray, Beverly D'Angelo ;) Dodge Chargers, Stussy, Mad Magazine, Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring... etc etc I love you guys!

The murder you talk of in UK headlines atm even thought it was a whiles ago. The only evidence being mentioned here is comming from the sister of the murdered girl, by way of testimony in court. 'Honour' killings are being put in the spotlight in the UK atm.

Considering the UK has more CCTV cameras per person than any other country in the world, it wouldnt suprise me that audio wires are used when deemed needed by a warrant. The UK is by no means a castle, our privicy is constantly infringed upon, or threatened.

btw i made this for the thread, tis a work of art.
