Koon case????

On May 21, 2010 Rodney Koon was charged with driving under the influence of a drug (OUID). After being pulled over for speeding, Koon admitted to smoking marihuana earlier in the day. A blood test revealed that Koon had active THC in his system. At trial, the judge required the Grand Traverse County Prosecutor prove Koon was actually impaired. Unlike alcohol, there is currently no objective standard to establish that a driver of a vehicle is impaired by marihuana. The Prosecutor has requested leave to appeal the trial court’s decision. Michigan Attorney General, Bill Schuette, filed a brief in support urging the Court of Appeals to grant leave and reverse. Schuette argues that any amount of THC in a driver’s system is a crime. This case presents a difficult balance between public safety and the rights of patients under the Michigan Medical Marihuana Act. On one hand, Michigan drivers should not be put at risk by those who choose to operate a vehicle while under the influence of marihuana. On the other, THC may stay in a patient’s system for up to a month after ingestion and long after the psychotropic effects of the drug have worn off. If adopted, Schuette’s interpretation would make it generally unlawful for medical marihuana patients to operate motor vehicles.

Here in Az I recommend you put it in a lock box in your trunk. Now for MI if the law tell you to or will in the future. Put the shit in your Glove or trunk.
Less of a hassle if pulled over.

Yup, plus if the federal pigs happen to corner you, your meds will be safely locked away and only be found with a SEARCH WARRANT.

Lock boxes aren't that expensive. Better to error on the side of caution. Also don't drive around with meds unless you need to. A lock box is far cheaper than a lawyer!

Don't forget my plant locks for cruising around town with your plants.
I am working on a stroller that locks in plants for those of us that like to walk our plants also.

"The Original" Plant Locks. I had these specially designed for legal mj patients. $29.99 for a pair. (PM me within the next 20 minutes and wait! I will double that order! Act now!! Do not compromise the safety of your plants. If you are a caregiver and don't buy these at full price, then you don't care about your patients. ....just sayin.

Maybe you were so high, you just thought he thought you were high. Keep smoking for another decade and it won't even show in your eyes, well not as bad... 'Blazing your high' and appearing high as a mofo, is a no-no.

Congratulations you have walked thru the ring o fire!

he said he know i was on drugs, than i fail the soberity test, and started laughing, the officer did not find it as funny as I did. I told him that I was pulled over and told i looked like i was on drugs Before. and he let me go. But he was saying he was going to take me to jail and in pound my car

What did the officer have you do exactly for the field sobriety test... and you laughed in the officers face, you say, after failing. Now there's an approach I wouldn't have taken, but hey, whatever works! You must not have really failed or you would have gone to the hospital for a blood test, then you'd have been a goner.. At least you didn't admit to medicating ever, ... EVER.

Please stop driving under the influence! It would make us all look bad!

There's no reason why you can't medicate when you're at your final destination for the evening, or have a sober driver.

Keep in mind your actions have consequences for all of us!

The idea of "Compliance" kind of sounds like "Obey" to me. Were adults, most of us, and self-discretion is the best any of us can hope for, IMO. Not every pill-popper makes the best choices regarding running heavy machinery, so does this mean we put our thumb on them? A simple field sobriety test should be sufficient if someone ends up under scrutiny. Discretion and moderation is something we all strive for, each in our own way, hopefully.Cannabis should not be illegal to begin in my idealized world.

You know if you're personally under the influence! If you're high, you shouldn't drive. Stay where you are, or have someone else drive.

Have some respect for the road! Families travel....wouldn't want your misjudgement putting others at risk!

Again who's standard. I am always under the influence. Rarely impaired. IMHO of course.
In billies opinion if it is in my system I'm impaired.
