Hermie seeds will often(at least 50%) be hermies. Not worth the trouble. Harvesting buds before revegging is something I do each year. Remove the central khola, leaving 4-6 side branches near the bottom. Remove the end/top buds from those branches. If possible, transplant to a larger container and lightly feed the girls a high Nitrogen fertilizer. Taken together, these actions will help the revegging process.

Ok thanks, what If I cant/ don't want to transplant before revegging (with 1 or 2 roots already visible through drainage holes)?? Will it effect the grow at all, and do you think it'd be worth revegging it?

Don't reveg the hermie. There's just no real upside. A revegged plant will be many times larger than it was when it bloomed, but this requires more soil mass.

It sounds like you'd prefer to restart from seed. It really is your preference that counts.

I wasn't planning on revegging the hermie just the female, but was asking if it would be worth it in the end yield. So if I don't transplant it before revegging it then it will just not get any bigger, or will it die??

**Weekly Update**
(9 weeks old 5 weeks flowered)
The bottom clones are still growing buds at a decent pace, but the top is slowly opening SOME flowers. I think I'm going to wait until buds are fully ripened before picking (atleast on the female), so it still has a few weeks, some trichomes are starting to turn cloudy but are mostly all developed (full mushroom heads) and clear.
(only got two pictures due to low battery)

hairs can mislead, if you can get some kind of magnifier, you can look at the trichs which gives you the last piece of the harvest puzzle

Ok I have a 50mm camera lens which will work right?? But what exactly should I be looking for then (It they're misleading)??

8 weeks is often quoted to be the minimum, at least for the indica dominants
not sure how that lens will work out, might be good
20x magnification is plenty, you're looking to see that the trichomes are changing from clear to something else
usually cloudy and ambers, but you never know for sure until you look

Ok well I was under the impression that the long things (hairs) were trichomes and was judging off of them, but most of the little trichomes are clear with a few starting to turn cloudy. Will the plant ripen earlier if if starts revegging or does that not matter and will take a certain length of time no matter what??

trichomes are the 'resin drops' that cover the bud, and leaves sometimes for frostier strains
i've pulled buds off a plant that i had revegged, the buds still looked reasonably good so why waste it?

We'll in that case I will just wait, I beleive someone said that the buds will rot off once it starts revegging, but you made me less worried about that. Four weeks after actually revegging the plant, and they're still there just really mature, I don't think they will rot off.

Thanks, that was my first idea, but then I thought what if I need to take them inside (incase of a hurricane or something), so I just decided to do something that would be secure but where I can take them down without digging up the soil to UN-screw them.

Once you see fresh green leaves(revegging), you can carefully trim out the finished buds, leaving the new growth. If you DON'T remove them, the plant will eventually let the buds dry out. Leaving the buds also slows the revegging process because the plants continue to try to finish the buds already started.

Yea it was weird to me too, but I'm 95% sure it's due to the lack of sunlight from all the other branches. The pot's they're in are gonna be they're permanent pot's (3gal's), but hopefully since they won't get very big it will be enough.

I think it's just the time of year and where you are at relative the equator. Strain possibly not acclimated. April in Venzuela is like in the fall is it not? January being the approximate height of summer?

Correct me if I'm wrong. Stuff buds in the late summer/fall naturally due to light cycle. Around the equator the light time differences are reduced significantly, but if the strain isn't used to growing in that area then it won't get very big most likely. Hence all the sativas growing around the equator and why most people growing the landrace varieties indoors will do it from seed under 12/12.

Hey fuck off this is my first grow where the plants have actually been female and only twice before with two plants which were both males so I don't really know much I never claimed to be a guru or anything I just thought I'd share my grow, but I might as well try an learn something isn't that what this site is for??

Its good to learn and ask questions up to a certain extent... but it makes you look like a blonde when your asking all these questions about stuff that most ppl learned on their own in their first few grows. Ima give u rep+ tho cuz its lookin nice.

If you don't know the answer it's always better to ask and get help. Even if you have a grow under your belt dosnt mean you not a noob. Been watching this grow. Things are looking good for the issues.
