hey,
I have some questions.
Well i got some shortriders (8) autoflowers
and 10 WW.
All from Nir vana.
Any way they all germianted, but ZERO pop up from the ground.
Im relaly sad.
The first 8 I dug about 1/2-3/4- all died
the second batch of 4 i did about 1/4 inch - Has been 3 days and i see nothing happening :(
Lighting- 2X 40 W cfl, and 2 X 24 W cfl
I did this a long time ago with bag seed and got great results.
But now none of these exotic seeds work.
Bad batch? Or maybe its the soul?
Im using those 20 pack from walmart. You add water and they poof up.
But they get dry like within 2 hours.
Its annoying.
Thanks:lol:

If they are drying out...A your not getting them wet enough...B your humidity is too low or C all of the above. Make sure they are nice and soaked, squeeze excess water out of the peat pellets then put your seedling in 1/4 inch with just the tip of the seed casing popping out of the pellet. Make sure you squeeze the pellet so the peat makes good contact with the taproot. Spray the humidity dome and nursery tray down with water and put your seedlings in there. This will keep them nice and moist for a few days, if they start to get dry mist the pellets down. If they have taproots when you put them in the pellets they will grow. Don't take wrapping off of the peat pellets until you see the first little root popping through, once you see a root transplant into a small pot. If you take wrappers off after you soak them they will eventually turn to mush and fall apart on ya. I use the jiffy pellets for all my seedlings and clones and if you do it right its fool proof. Do like I just suggested and leave them be, check on them 4 times a day for humidity, temperature and growth. make sure the temperature in their area is between 80-85F also.

wow, do some reading. at this hour all i can muster is to tell you that drying out for just a tiny bit will KILL a seedling. this is almost definitely not a "bad batch". as far as seed breeders go nirvana is about as reputable as it gets.

i tried those w/m things, and wound up just wrapping them with some wax paper to keep 'em wet.
