Go with Superace 1k/hps and ballast to match for commercial growing. I usually plug into a dryer plugin for 240vac.
exactly. helps a lot when you are running multiple lights in a room. if you were running 8,000w in lighting for example on a light controller you would need 2 or 3 gauge copper thhn if the lights were wired 120v. if they were wired 240v you would only need 6 or 8 gauge. considered safer to have smaller wiring and loads running through the walls.You can use a smaller gauge of wire to run 240vac because your amperage is cut in half from 120vac.
