Damn dude is just straight getting bashed, but I bet half these people don't grow and even realize the cost of seeds, soil, lighting, carbon filters, electricity, and just time. Plus some strains are hit and miss anyway. I bet you think this guy should give the shit away just because of a few seeds and because he's doing it legally! Well somewhat legally since people are still getting cases in MMJ states. Get real people, plus he didn't even say he was selling it for $400 an oz. Read the fucking posts people. Do you all think that every seed we buy for $10-$20 a piece always germinates? No! Do they always turn out to be female? No! Do they always turn out to be top shelf weed? No. You might get one pheno that is top shelf and one that is only mid grade. Then you have to cure it properly. Then after all that you have to put the time and effort into growing your crop out. Hell if someone tried to insult me by acting like I should just give my shit away after I put all this effort into it. Shit I will just keep it all for myself. LOL!

chasing phenos at the expense of medical patients is not admirable. wondering if your next harvest is going to be mid or top is ridiculous. Genetics, grow techniques, and classes are avialable to growers to avoid the flood of shit weed. Why would any pro grower searching for phenos to keep start with FEMINIZED seeds ??// absolutely ridiculous man!!
UNLOADING IT ON YOUR PATIENTS was the key phrase here, and any legal caregiver with compassion in his heart would never say something like this.
Nobody denies the costs of growing. But if one is to be providing medical marijuana to sick individuals, consumers should expect that his first time out should be lab tested, and all costs involved. Gouging is gouging, and there are some very sick patients that dont know anybetter, thats the market you want to exploit with substandard products??? wow, in MI they'll tear your head off !
This might fly in jerkwater, or cali, but the medical scene here will not tolerate this kind of (how much should I charge for my first grow" mentality.)
I mean no disrespect for a newbie grower, but advise reading about the miracle plant, it's chemistry and biology, constructing a proper grow facility, and for christ sake get the weed tested before you "dump it !!

People should learn to read a whole post before they reply to it. For 1 this guy is a newbie: 1st Harvest! What makes you think that this guy and everyone else growing are pros? Plus not everyone is a damn breeder. I can see using regular seeds if you are growing a 100 different plants trying to pick out your perfect pheno to clone or to get that perfect male and what not, but not if you are doing it under a 400w light. You could grow 4 plants thoroughly under a 400w. Why waste your time with regular seeds and males. You could waist a whole veg time on males. Who the hell wants to do that? We are talking about 2 completely different categories of growers here. I know what your saying about being a compassionate caregiver. I have seen a family member die from cancer, and my heart goes out to anyone who gets that horrible diagnosis. And I agree that people shouldn't get rich off the sick, but I don't think that is what this guy is trying to do at all. Even as a caregiver, I don't expect people to give their shit away. Plus I know for a fact that a couple of seeds here and there doesn't mean that it is shit weed at all. Hell I have gotten some really really good weed that had a couple of seeds in it. I was happy as hell to find the seeds in it too.

I agree with the seeds issue, just sayin, not for medical marijuana. Genetics, a keen eye on a garden, will eliminate seeds. croppers have many seeds, medical gardens have few, if any, ever.
Again the phrase UNLOADING TO YOUR PATIENTS" is key here, and should be a very blatant eye into the garden, habits, motivations,potency, toxicity, present pesticides, potency, and overall quality of a product created by a person with those ideals. Because he is not a pro is no reason not remind him of proper caregiver/patient relationship. I dont want to see my sick family member buy basement product form a person who is unloading it on his patients ??? do you???

I really don't see any problem with someone wanting a little pocket money for their time and effort for growing. I don't think it's kool to price gouge sick ppl...if that is a case, but damn, no reason to pin someone to a cross for wanting to cover their overhead and have some extra cash to. My opinion. I find the ppl who jump up on a soapbox and praise their own names, are the ones most full of sht. Again, another opinion

Getting it tested and shit. That's a little much for your average grower to do don't you think? How much does that cost? I know what you are trying to say though, but not everybody that is a MMJ patient is sick with cancer. If they are really that sick, then maybe they should go to a dispensary where they are more readily able to do these things that you recommend. It's hard for me to understand the medical side of marijuana. I smoke the shit for recreational purposes. I always have and probably always will! And I see plenty of people getting MMJ cards that are not getting it for anything besides recreational purposes but playing it off as medical. Nothing special about that because people have been hitting up doctors for pills all day long, so why not weed too if it is available. I am of the mindset that I should be able to smoke weed if I want to. I don't think that it is any of the governments business what I do in my own home as long as I am not hurting anyone. Now with that being said it sounds like you want marijuana to be regulated like tobacco or something. I don't know, but I think most growers are smart enough not to use products on their crop that will be harmful to the user. Especially if you are a user. I have never smoked weed that has been tested before, and I am just fine. Just saying! Don't take this the wrong way, but I don't think that you have ever grown anything before indoors. It takes a little more money than one really expects to get any operation up and running. To get good genetics cost money. Everything costs money. I have alot of money tied up in my shit. Hell, I probably have bought $800 in beans looking for a favorite strain. More than I had originally planned on spending. I am growing strictly for personal use only though. Whatever I grow is what I smoke.
